  this good advice from the watchtower has served me well,.

  "by their fruits you will recognize them".

  so the first thing i always check for in a woman is her melons.. a nice firm pair is always a good sign.

  the jws claim to have some 8,730 "anointed" footstep followers of jesus christ among themselves.

  all supposedly "led by the spirit" as spiritual "sons" of god.

  Hi and welcome to the board, Winsome. We've been getting a fairly large influx of new people here lately, which is great! On the downside, it does mean that new threads are popping up like crazy...

  Your post was interesting. Have you read any of AlanF's stuff yet? That's also extremely interesting. Personally, this + a million other things are the reason I'm no longer a Dub, or even religious at all for that matter.

  Unfortunately the ties that bind in the average Witness mind are so strong that they dismiss even this blatantly damnin evidence as the 'work of Apostates'. BLAAAAH.

  hi all..... i was starting to feel like i was walking around outside in me undies.... is there something new going on... people who normally always looked at me with disdain are suddenly smiling and making friendly.... is anything up????

  just last week, i was sure i was still satan's spawn....???

  sometimes i think back at all the people i helped "into the truth".

  all of those people now in the borg.

  Any ExJW kids out there?

  i am 7 years old and would like to make some friends with any ex jw kids out there.. i like music, dancing, movies (just saw clockstoppers, it was awesome), books.

  we are about to move and i made a house out of the boxes!

  my mom says i should be an engineer when i grow up because i can make lots of neat things with the boxes!.

  well, according to the people in my hall, us "sisters" are pretty damn helpless.

  our hall is being remodelded, so last night during the announcements, the brother said, "we need as many brothers as we can get to help with doing the work this weekend..." then he has the sheer audacity to say, "and we will also need some sisters to clean up the mess afterwards.

  There is no such thing as good and bad witchcraft! It is all bad! I was recently walking through a shopping mall in Madison, Wisconsin, and as I walked passed an incense shop, replete with all kinds of grotesque looking creatures in which to burn incense, I noticed a sign in the window printed on black velvet. It said, "Are you a good witch or a bad witch?" I stood there and prayed and rebuked that wicked place in Jesus' name, and I know it will soon be gone! Sadly, the false message lives on, and people think they can be a good witch and mix it with Christianity!

  Don't know which is sadder...the Witches or the Christians.

  At least REAL Wiccans run around naked under the full moon & stuff, which automatically puts them on my list of 'preferred' religions!

  Controversy is raging over reports that a woman is pregnant with the world's first cloned baby.

  The claim is said to have been made by fertility specialist Dr Severino Antinori, who has been developing a cloning programme at his Rome clinic.

  He made the announcement at a conference on genetic engineering in Abu Dhabi, according to a report in the Gulf News.

  Pregnant

  But his office in Rome refused to comment on the report.

  The Gulf News quoted Dr Antinori as saying: "Our project is at a very advanced stage."

  "One woman among thousands of infertile couples in the programme is eight weeks pregnant. We have nearly 5,000 couples in this project now."

  Together with colleague Dr Panos Zavos at the Andrology Institute of America in Lexington, Kentucky, Dr Antinori had pledged to attempt to clone a a baby by the end of 2001.

  'Freak show'

  Richard Nicholson, editor of the Bulletin of Medical Ethics, said he was sceptical of the claim, but said if it was true, the baby's future was grim.
  
  
  Cloned human cells

  "I don't believe Dr Antinori has in any way considered the welfare of the offspring," said Mr Nicholson.

  "With the sort of publicity-seeking Antinori goes in for, any resulting child clone is likely to become little more than a freak show."

  He added: "Given the accelerated ageing seen in cloned animals, this child is not going to have a particularly happy or normal childhood."

  Deformed

  Professor Jack Scarisbrick, chairman of the anti-abortion charity Life, said: "If this report is true, it is outrageous."

  "First of all, to be manipulating human life in this way is intolerable and all civilised countries have banned it or are banning it.

  "Secondly, we know the risks of producing hideously deformed creatures and loss of life associated with cloning. It's quite irresponsible."

  Cloning a baby in the UK is illegal and punishable by imprisonment.

While we sure as hell can't make it easier for you, we do listen and try to help as best as we can, so feel free to share your feelings about this significant event in your life with us.
