Honestly I think we're missing the mark here on the whole bread thing. Yes it is poor from the perspective of too much explanation but the connection that's being made most prominent in this JWB is far more interesting to me.
Note that it starts out talking about grieving the Holy Spirit. it zeros in on what ways one could do that. Notice the early stress on deceit. Then notice the brother they show talking during morning worship.
It is clear they are tying in or making a point of grieving the Holy Spirit with speech. Deceitful or harmful speech. Note the stress on "not having all the facts". The stress on pulling back to get perspective.
It is clear to me that many are speaking badly against the organization. There's been a large contingency now after seeing the ARC.
Really feels to me like they're putting the fear in folks that are speaking basically the truth but it looks disparaging on the organization. They're saying your asking for the second death.
Agree the bread illustration a bit drawn out but the point being driven home here? To me stop talking about what you've seen you don't have all the facts if you don't stop it's an E-Ticket (Disney reference ) to Gehenna.
i see alot of youtube channels that have footage of the hearing, however i can not find the original footage?
can anyone point me in the direction of where the original footage is?
i am working on a project and do not want to strip footage from someones channel or steal someones work in terms of editing it or downloading it and uploading it with changes.
@Watchtower-Free are the overlays in the corners those that were on the original broadcast?
I ask because when showing these to active witnesses it is important to ensure it is the recording straight from the ARC.
Thanks in advance.
i just "da'd" friday.
i've been posting on here for years but do to anonymity, i had to start with a new account.
would love to connect with anyone that i may know.
the rule was (is) that you go to your assigned congregation.. growing up, i think our family was in our assigned congregation only one of three times.
the family made two major moves when i was a kid and each time my folks would visit the various congregations in the area and pick the one with the most kids.
given our association restrictions with the world, they wanted to make sure we had plenty of friends.. i have to give them credit where due.

The blatantly false teaching of 607 is what got me. This teaching was based loosely on Daniel 4 along with the Great Pyramid of Giza's dimensions (how on earth Russell sold this is still shocking to me but I digress). The only problem is a few years later cuneiform tablets started showing up. A few years after that thousands of these tablets were translated. To this day they are still translating and finding these cuneiform tablets. The Babylonians were master accountants. They recorded everything.
Just this past year more were found. It is clear by both documented business tablets along with those watching celestial events that are absolute in time have cooked the goose of the 607 teaching. It is a certainty that Jerusalem was destroyed in 586/587.
Why can't the Watchtower back off of this teaching and will manufacture unrecorded Kings or gaps in their reigns so as to keep this teaching? Without it there is no 1914, there is no 1919 (when authority was supposedly given to the WTBS) hence there's no Jehovah's Witnesses. It's that serious.
Lastly the mucking with the bible was the second thing that crushed my faith. For some time I have studied Koine Greek, really just for fun. The bible has categorically been changed to fit WT doctrine.
proskuneo (worship), elohim (true God or, God of gods), kyrios (Lord)
Those three words alone are monkeyed with so much the WT has painted themselves into a corner with contradictions. Why so many NWT revisions? Like the cartoon where another leak starts leaking the minute one is patched, the NWT receives patches on the regular.
What does Revelation 22:18,19 say about changing God's word??? Ummm yeah DON'T or the pelages in the bible will be brought upon you.

That domain is merely a 301 (perm redirect) to jwsurvey
Is that correct?
So who's putting these up?
i have been lurking on the site for a few months and thought it about time i plucked up the courage to step out of the shadows and say hello.. i am in the process of fading after realizing all is not right with the organization i had trusted implicitly for over 40 years.
there have always been 'truths' i have struggled to accept entirely, even as a child, but was confident that trusting in jehovah, building my faith and remaining patient would be enough to settle any nagging doubts that remained, so i pushed any inconsistencies to the back of my mind and concentrated on being the best witness that i could be.. over the last few years, however, i have been preoccupied with a number of crises in my family and stepping back slightly from 'theocratic' activity has allowed me to re evaluate a number of concerns and research sources other than the sanitized wt publications.. my eyes are now wide open - i found things which have appalled me and left me feeling extremely let down and disappointed by people i had really trusted.. i tried gently raising a few subjects with my mum (who was baptized early '70s and still remains a staunch wt supporter) but she will hear no criticism of the organization.
i understand this because the best part of her life has been invested in the religion and to acknowledge it may have got things wrong would be to recognize the last 40 years have been a vain waste.
+1 @Magnum
Exactly the same with me. There were always things that didn't seem right, but I put them on the back burner thinking (and being told) that I would get answers in the future. I didn't. In fact, the opposite happened; the issues/questions grew in intensity and number.
In all seriousness that is a profound statement really. I think we all put things aside were company women/men only to run out of excuses for things.
