They have no authority over you. So don't acknowledge it in any way. Plus sticking something in your door circumventing the mail system is invalid. If they want to send you something let them mail it and then take it to the post office and say return to sender that the addressee does not live there.

I've had enough..
by raven inso last night, after thinking "wow those pesky elders have finally left me alone, maybe since i skipped out on their jc invitation back on august 1st they've given up" wrong.. i go to check the mail and there's an envelope at my front door- lo and behold, another letter from from these elders.. why won't they leave me alone already?
i'll attach a picture of the letter.. again, same letter as the first one inviting me to a judicial committee on august 15th - and signed by all three elders.. should i just continue to ignore?
quite frankly i don't give a rats arse i've been enjoying life free from the mind control of the organization, and i just wish they would drop it and let me live life.. like i mentioned before, i am moving to a new home next week, the only reason these elders have my current address ( which happens to be over 100 miles away from the cong ) is because my mother gave it to them, after i gave it to her in confidence to forward me my mail.. so lets just say she won't be getting my new address... i don't have any contact with ones from this congregation (i'm an ex pioneer, so i'm sure if they've gotten word on what i'm doing, i must be satan himself!

I conclude evolution is guided
by KateWild inyour qualifications are way above mine so i'd love to hear more about the specifics of what you have researched and how that supports the existence of a deity.
k99, i am not really convinced that you're interested in my conclusions.

Viv, I'm confusing nothing. You are NOT the authority on the matter although you clearly believe you are. What's your degree in?
If the Origin of Life is not important why did Darwin spend so much time on it? Why did he write to is colleges about it in various letters.
I know you don't want it to matter because it is a problem for the Evolutionary theory but it absolutely matters.
Whatever it was (Primordial soup, Clay, Electricity, Panspermia...whatever) it absolutely matters.

Cofty offered to discuss RNA and DNA with you, yet you pretend no one would. Why?
I didn't see a discussion on the matter only links some of which I have already consumed.

1. Show me where I said "a theory" is a guess. In fact I said the opposite several posts back.
2. Show me where I "inserted" God in any of my posts. What I'm inserting is I don't know because we simply do not know "the charge" which caused DNA.
If you know what the charge is that caused RNA to become DNA again you'll get a Nobel Prize.
Not one person here has had a single prolific thing to say about this problem. Instead the de facto go to answer is to keep saying I'm inserting God when it has ZERO to do with that for me. Along with a bunch of other rhetoric that I never said.
No matter how many times I say it I see the same post over and over.
Now for the last time until someone shows me evidence of how RNA became DNA I don't know if it is Evolution (life by chance), God (life by supreme being) or a Leprechaun (life by little green guy from planet three solar systems away).
I get it you want me to accept well it just happened somehow but don't worry about that. No thanks!
I get that it angers you because you can't explain this process any more than anyone else. It is what it is. Maybe someone day we'll know until then I personally can't accept any final resolution.

The endless folks that think I have any position one way or the other is fascinating. In all seriousness lets pick up this thread and re-read it for starters.
Again for the like 5th time. I neither accept wholly Creation or Evolution. NEITHER. why because yes I want to know what kicked off those amino acids caused chaining of DNA. I can't be more clear.
If you want to ignore the issue of RNA to DNA then you simply don't want to accept the fact that Evolution like Creation cannot be proven. Neither can life originating from some other planet outside our solar system.
I get it you don't want to address this very key issue because there's no answer hence it frustrates you and your firm belief of Evolution, probably because you don't like hearing that it is only a theory.
Still that is what we have, so lets quit assuming Hadriel believes in X because I simply don't have enough data and neither does anyone as we're missing this key component.

Yes you can. Evolution is the accepted status quo. All advancements are refinements to the theory.
Accepted by who? Very blanket statement that cannot be attributed to all scientists.
There has been no advancement in the answer to how RNA became DNA. If you have the study where definitive refinement has been made please disclose.

@OrphanCrow many theories just like this one are ultimately proven wrong. Of this entire discussion this much is absolute FACT cannot be disputed.
As such indeterminate possibilities yet to be fleshed out are certainly on the table. Science is the pursuit of knowledge by study and experimental tests related to those studies.
So if there are no indeterminate possibilities what the heck are you testing?
To not consider "other" or the unknown is to fall into the trap discussed in this article.

Seems like most of these situations are with those whose offense happened in the 80's or before the mid 90's. At least it appears that way.
They may have been lost in the shuffle but that's simply no excuse as there is nothing more precious than children. Nothing.

@Landy maybe I'm not being clear but I completely agree with your statements.
I'm actually saying you CANNOT assume God just because we are unaware of this charge/event that sprung life into motion.
The problem is that you cannot assume Evolution either for the very same reason.
@cofty I have no issue with LUCA zero. However you're leaving out an important part which the hard and fast types like to do it seems....how the hell did you get to the first universal ancestor?
Honestly I don't get the hostility...if you can prove how RNA became DNA how amino acids were charged beginning the chaining of life you'll get a Nobel Price if you can't you MUST accept other possibilities and that is really all I'm saying.
To be very clear I'm not saying either are right. i think we need more questions answered. I suspect some day when it is all solved we'll find there's something involved that no one thought of before. Usually works that way in the end. Meaning the answer might be right in front of everyone.

@Landy then why bring up hypotheses? Evolution is a theory.
You categorically cannot prove/disprove Evolution/Creation until you can define how RNA became DNA. How those amino acids became charge which began the proto-chaining of life.
Creationists want to stick to well how else could it have happened.
Evolutionists want to ignore this charge/event that began life.
Everyone would do well to not talk semantics and get to the core issue. What the hell was the catalyst. If you don't want to discuss this I'm out. This is the topic to debate not all this ancilary crap as it means zero without knowing what charged those amino acids so long ago.
Remember....closing your mind means you've stopped looking for the answers!
