  Second in the Medal Table - Well Done TeamGB

  can't believe it - gb is currently second in the medal table, with more golds and silvers combined than even china.

  given the size of the nation it's an incredible achievement and we have won in some sports where other countries typically dominate.

  i can't imagine we will stay in second but i am happy to enjoy the moment.. well done to the whole of team gb!.

  this tidbit just came out.. as population ages, "feuding with computer strangers" surpasses "drunken binges" as most popular form of recreation in united states..

  Ppl who otherwise would be insecure get rather empowered behind a keyboard.

  ...and to be honest it's nothing new. Back in the 80's saw it on bulletin boards. Although among tech types there's a camaraderie to it similar to trash talk between football players.

  @Steph it is likely the recent district convention has caused this change in attitude.

  Don't remember why you were DF'd but you can petition her emotional side. If you are not practicing what she considers sin ask why she would abandon you. Use the word abandon. Ask her to explain how 1 Corinthians 5 applies to those who are no longer practicing sin?

  Ask her if she considers you the AntiChrist. 2 John 10 when it speaks of not greeting a person it is speaking of the AntiChrist. in other words a person who doesn't believe Jesus came in the flesh.

  Tell her you want to assure her you would never forsake the sacrifice of Jesus.

  These are perplexing things for JW's because if you read the scriptures carefully there honestly isn't a basis for shunning you to a degree WORSE than a tax collector.

  ...a 400 typically means that some criteria that the server expects is missing when it tries to query the result set for you.

  just a stab there's probably an id or other unique identifier missing or something that's causing this. Something Simon will have to fix/look at.

  and it could very well be related he may have had to migrate some things around or reproduce some keys in new tables/documents which could cause this.

  those of us who grew up with the nwt in our little hands probably remember this little guy - he might be a mascot of our generation, might he not?.

  for those unfamiliar with him, he graced the inside end sheets of the new world translation - the infamous green version - and was placed squarely in the center of what is now the sahara desert, i believe.. for decades, of course, i saw him, looked at him, thought "generic dinosaur.

  " then i began wondering - was he just a generic dinosaur?

  I've seen this little guy in other works. Well similar at least. My guess on this one unlike other blatant plagiarisms that the watchtower has engaged in, this one was drawn by them. I'm sure they took ideas from others but it isn't like this is some fine piece of art. I think most of us could draw this.

  @Frankenstein it is also categorically dishonest to not answer a direct question because you don't want to feel the words cross your lips.

  Which is exactly what happens when you ask poignant questions which science has yet to solve and yet the non-theist types simply won't state the obvious.

  Until the origin of life question is solved NO ONE should be puffing out their peacock chest.

  Without the origin of life there is no evolution, I'm not typing this....in short there is nothing.
