"It really wasn't free, it just wasn't paid by you at that moment."
Yeah, it was paid for through taxes. Seems more sensible for something like healthcare that all citizens will need at some point than the way it's done here in the states.
We pay for it as well through payroll deductions. The quality of the insurance varies by employer. Just pray you don't lose your job and then get sick in the interim between the next job or you're basically screwed.

Smoking gun GB can’t get out of this one
by Mikejw inhere in 2022 if anyone says anything against the vaccines even a little bit you are almost apostate.. someone once mentioned all vaccinated sports stars collapsing and someone else said not to speak badly about the gb or by extension jehovah.. the gb can’t get out of this one, it’s gone too far.
it’s now the case that if you speak against the vaccines you are speaking against the gb and by extension jehovah .

“AIDS US-Patent 5676977”
This patent number does exist, though it is not an effective cure for AIDS, or a patent on the virus (HIV) which causes AIDS. The patent is for “tetrasilver tetroxide molecular crystal devices” which the inventors wanted to develop as a cure for AIDS.
Filing a patent is not the same as creating an effective cure for something, as none of the same testing needs to take place to file a patent. The patent has now expired.
“H1N1 US-Patent 8835624”
US Patent number 8835624 is for something called an aptamer, which is a tiny strand of DNA or RNA which can bind to certain target molecules on the surface of a pathogen. This patent number applies to an aptamer that binds to H1N1 Influenza A, also known as swine flu. The scientists applying for the patent wanted to use the aptamer to detect the presence of the virus. The patent is not for the swine flu virus itself.
“Ebola US-Patent 20120251502”
US patent application publication number 2012/0251502 A1 is for a strain of human Ebola virus called EboBun and was applied for by the US Department of Health.
This does not mean the US government invented the virus. It applied for the patent for the new virus, not to make money from its use, but so it can allow companies to use the virus to create potential vaccines, and stop companies from restricting research around it.
According to the US Patent and Trademark Office, the status of the patent application is “abandoned”.
“Swine Flu US-Patent CA2741523”
This number is a patent application number made by the US Centres of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the Ebola virus EboBun, not swine flu. This application was made to the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Again, the existence of this application does not mean the CDC invented the virus. The patent has not been granted.
“BSE US-Patent 0070031450 A1”
We couldn’t find a US patent or patent application with exactly this number. However, there is a now-abandoned patent, with an application number only one digit away from this. This wasn’t a patent for BSE (Bovine spongiform encephalopathy, commonly known as mad cow disease) itself, but for a type of animal vaccine that included a protein resistant to changes caused by BSE.
“ZIKA ATTC VR-84 (Rockefeller Foundation)”
This sequence of letters and numbers is not a patent or an application number—it’s just the name of a particular strain of the Zika virus. ATCC stands for the American Type Culture Collection, which is an organisation that amongst other things, collects samples of different pathogens. VR-84 is the name of the Zika strain that was first isolated by scientists.
The Rockefeller Foundation did not patent the virus. The virus was originally deposited into the ATCC by Dr Jordi Casals of the Rockefeller Foundation Virus Laboratory in 1953. The original source was isolated from the blood of a rhesus monkey in 1947. According to the Rockefeller Foundation, other viruses were also identified at that laboratory, located in Uganda.
“SARS US-Patent 7897744 & 8506968”
The first number is a US patent for the genomic sequences for the SARS virus, applied for by the Canadian Public Health Agency.
This particular patent application was made in 2004, after the first SARS outbreak in 2002. This does not mean the Canadian Public Health Agency invented the SARS virus. The CDC also applied for a patent on SARS, to keep information on it in the public domain. There was some concern at the time that if private companies had patents to the genetic data of the virus, it might hinder efforts to create vaccines or cures.
The second number is a now expired patent for “SARS vaccine compositions and methods of making and using them”.
“CORONAVIRUS US-Patent 10130701”
A patent application from 2015 does exist for one type of coronavirus, but not the same one as the new one identified in Wuhan, which has now been named Covid-19.
Coronavirus is a broad category of viruses that includes the common cold, SARS, and Covid-19.
The patent number mentioned here refers to a “live attenuated” version of the avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). Live attenuated IBV is essentially a weakened version of the virus, patented with the aim of eventually developing it into a vaccine against the disease for birds and other animals. IBV is in the same family as the new Wuhan coronavirus (which is now known as Covid-19).

Who specifically do you have in mind with this statement? -

"Gonna have to print new stamps now."
Money too. Does anyone know if they will make an effort to quickly replace the old currency with the new as soon as it arrives back to the banks from circulation or will it be over a few years as the worn notes are replaced? -

"the artwork showed people wearing mask....Anyway, my thought later was this was a sort of preprogramming...( like they knew in advance what was coming )"
I dont know if there was such a picture or not. But I find it interesting how conspiracy theorist's often (always in hindsight) find that those orchestrating the conspiracy are always kind enough to publish hidden clues to their agenda.
"Alright Gentleman, our secret plot is now in place. Only one detail remains. Who is in charge of placing the hidden clues of our diabolical scheme throughout various media? Oh, it's Jim? Excellent!" - followed by maniacal laughter and twirling of mustaches. -

Old people always think their country is going to hell. Many elderly people here in the US look back on the 1950's through a fog of nostalgia as a time when the country was 'great'. But I would bet that my great grandfather who was IN his 50's and 60's in the 1950's would have said the country was going to hell compared to the 1920's when he was a young man. And HIS father probably would have complained the country was going to hell in the 1920's and the country was great in the glorious 1890's.
I'm beginning to see it happen with some of my friends lately as well. Except for them it's the 1990's that were some golden age. It's the way of things. -

"whether including antimatter or not, to dispose of the surplus of decaying bodies in a speedy and sanitary way."
Using the convention that 1 kiloton TNT equivalent= 4.184×1012 joules (or one trillion calories of energy), one half gram of antimatter reacting with one half gram of ordinary matter (one gram total) results in 21.5 kilotons-equivalent of energy (the same as the atom bomb dropped on Nagasaki in 1945).
1 pound=453 grams and I'll assume each corpse weighs on average 150 pounds. 453x150 = 67,950.67,950 Nagasaki bombs going off with each corpse disposed of in this way. Times billions of corpses. Pretty dumb idea.

Is This New?
by Lost in the fog init is a very long time since i was an elder and the elders textbooks have changed multiple times since then.
going back to when i was an elder, to the best of my knowledge the only way a spouse could divorce from his/her partner was porneia, if that person had sexual relations with a man, woman, child, or beast.
but it had to be proven and that's the dubious 2 witness rule.. in fact, if it was not proven and the innocent party divorced and married someone else, then they could be hauled up in front of a judicial committee and be charged with committing adultery and disfellowshipped!

"However, if the innocent spouse chose not to divorce, what followed was the messy business of alleged forgiveness by this wronged spouse if they resumed sexual relations with the guilty partner which would imply they were accepting them back into the marriage bed."
I dont have anything to add as far as your question, but the quote above brought back a memory. I was not an elder, I just became aware through the gossip vine. Anyways there was a married couple in the congregation I attended and it turns out one of them had been carrying on a very long term affair. The cheater apparently showed the correct level of repentance and wasn't disfellowshipped. The spouse did not immediately seek a divorce, who knows why. Kids involved, financial insecurity, shock, do I want to walk away from a 20+ year marriage? I'm sure all these things were running through their head.
About a year or two later, the aggrieved spouse decided they just couldn't be in a marriage that had been lies and deception for years.
Guess which one found themselves in the hot seat? The person who had been cheated on because the intervening time between the confession and the decision to seek divorce indicated there had been "forgiveness" and I presume, the assumption that sexual relations must have resumed at some point in the interval.
