Craziest meeting in last 10 years let's compare
by Chook inhi guys ,i'm new here 27 in 1 year out.. ive escaped 2 judicially by changing congs in rapid escape .i will tell my last dodged bullet.i swear these word as gospel honest.6 years ago in oz i'm in cong only about a year and tensions were running high due to a crazy old european bro ex elder who took no shit from the 10 apostles.i like him i don't know if it was the rebel in me or underdog syndrome but good guy 74years old he was.we just had this big sense the razor were getting sharpened.we arrive at thursday's night meeting my wife was at home so another big boring night i thought, was i wrong.the body has every mongrel breed.the three main characters were the italian dutch german, service committee.we start with song prayer ,the dutchy get up and says we are making adjustments to meeting tonight the arrogant bastard says only bible reading tonight then there agender.dutchy says.what is most amazing is these 10 idiots agreed to this changing of meeting program.
(these words are true)"we have a korah influence in cong and the 10 apostles have established an open judicial committee, the elders said there was evil in our mist .so to root out the evil if anyone has heard a bro say anything against any elders recently the are to report to the three stooges.well dutchy dims light and play the old prehistoric korah movie to the cong ,the bloody creation movie by russell was higher quality.
30 mins later german takes to the stage for the circus to begin.he repeats the dutch mantra ,well the publishers were looking at each other like it was north korea ,could have heard a pin drop,we are all thinking to ourselves we are all guilty of bitchin about the bastards .before meeting had finished halfway thru movie i rang my mate to tell him about "the burning "as the meeting became affectionately known.get home tell wife she don't believe me,within 2 days she believed.it was the talk of area.i had never rang bethel previously because i believed it was heaven and it didn't need my voice.next morning ring service desk in sydney and all i said i was concerned what took place at meeting last night .

6. You need your faith (Christian) - but where do you go?
This is the point i am at right now.
I echo Vidiot in what he says, but I'd like to add that maybe what needs to be addressed is the need for you to "go somewhere". What need do you have that you feel that the WT fulfills for you, to the point that you are willing to abide all their nonsense they say? What's more, is that need in fact being fulfilled, and if it is, is it worth giving up your life, your career, your healthcare, your capacity to think and decide things for yourself?
Look at what the WT expect people to give up for them. Instead of looking for a place to go, look for the feeling you need to address that makes you want to look for something that the WT.

As a born in, I know first hand how little that organization cares about the well being of children. For starters, children are never removed from any of the adult subjects that are discussed in their meetings, the only actions they take regarding any abuse towards children is to protect themselves (always) and their crop (maybe).
Children mean nothing to that organization. Not a thing.

What is the obsession of believers wanting to prove non-believers wrong!
That's just more crap. Piles and piles of more crap. The drama, the background music, nothing new at all. It's the same believer nonsense.

I'd add one more to the list, which is the reason why some of the JWs I knew who were near me stayed:
They continue to believe in "jehovah". As disappointed as they are about every single thing that surrounds them in the organization, they still believe that they have to stick with their deity.

Remote Translation Offices (RTO) of Jehovah's Witnesses
by Brokeback Watchtower inwhat do you think about these things.
it seems like a monumental waste of time and money, a pipe dream of the governing body based on wishful thinking.
this corporation is going down the tubes with these asshole deluded genius's calling the financial investment shot.. buying chemical dump property around the world to build their financial empire headquarters on while facing massive child molestation lawsuits now and many more in the future means it looking kind of bleak for these messed idiots running things.. http://jw-branchoffices.blogspot.com/p/watchtower-remote-translation-offices.html.

Well, the WT is going down the drain in most advanced countries, but there's actually growth in third world countries and in countries lacking infrastructure. And the concept of remote offices for translation work has actually been around for quite some time. I know as I have done translation work in the past, remotely, so it works.

Welcome to the forum, so that means that you went through all the JC nonsense when you were 17! You should be proud of yourself to have learned and realized things about those people so early in life. Some don't have that youth advantage.

Any suggestions????
This organization is already causing division in your family. Why are you still entertaining the idea of staying with them?

Schadenfreude
by Coded Logic inman who claims god punishes gays with floods has his home destroyed in flood of ‘biblical proportions’.
family research council president and former louisiana state legislator tony perkins had to escape his flooded baton rouge home via canoe, the christian post reported on wednesday, citing his recent comments on his radio program, “washington watch.”.
“[i have seen] nothing like this, and i have been involved in disaster relief, especially here in louisiana, working and coordinating relief efforts through several hurricanes,” the christian post quoted mr. perkins as saying.
