I made the statements above because of what I am about to write.

You will be surprised that there are always people who support the most vile and hideous criminals. There are serial killer groupies, there are people who support sex with minors and believe that it is possible to have a romantic/sexual relationship between an adult and a child.

And I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of transgender rights advocate who wants to use that to make it about transgender rights, even though cross-dressing and being transgender have nothing to do with each other.

There are people who believe that the cross-dressing part will be made as some kind of psychological problem, and they oppose to that view, hence may feel that supporting him will make people "aware" of how judgemental people are over people with those proclivities.

The list can go on and on and on. We are no longer in a world where a crime is just a crime. Crimes are now used as platforms for each one of its components to be exploited by supporters of some cause or point of view.

And there are some people who somehow convince themselves that the criminal is somehow a "victim". And there are some people who ejnoy getting negative attention by supporting a POS like that. They get a cheap thrill when people around them say "WHAT!" or something.

in his video he mentions an elders letter sent to germany in 07 , i believe.

in this letter if i'm understanding it correctly the elders are being instructed to send most of any information on hand about child abuse in their congregation to headquarters and any thing else they have at home or in their personal possession to destroy it.

this seams to be the most obvious case of wt telling their elders to destroy information.

I think you guys have are suffering of the exact same thing you are criticizing crazyguy of doing. He's been in the forum for quite some time and has posted (when I checked) 5,739 times.

Scanning through his post, they don't strike me as a person just talking out of nowhere.

i live in a pretty conservative area of the united states, and in the past two decades i can remember 2, that's right, two instances of seeing a jw with a beard in my area.

(not counting myself at times, 😜, and i'm obviously not counting bearded visitors dressed in casual clothes).. however at this year's convention, i saw about a dozen bearded jws .

this is like an explosion where i live.

hi everyone.. this is just a thought, while reading bill bowen's silent lambs website i was interested to find out how long ago the figure of 23,000 molesters was published.. well it was in 2002.. in the spring of 2002, silentlambs was contacted by three different sources who claimed to have connected with people inside the headquarters of the watchtower bible & tract society of new york, located in patterson , new york .

these insiders provided silentlambs contacts with a computer data base number of 23,720 child molesters on file there.

so as the spring of 2002 was just over 15 years ago i wonder how many more have been added to the list ?.

there may not be anyone on the planet that has inside information about watchtower abuse in regard to sexual child abuse than zalkin.

he has been given a plethora of inside information but can not share it by order of the court.

when will the courts lift this veil of protection for religious entities?

Got gas pump witnessed this morning.

so on our way to hospital today i see a car load of jehovah's pull up to a pump a row over.

" we were running late to nicu and of course these dummy's take this moment to drive up to give us some good news.

They are cynical. It wouldn't surprise me if the JW that knows you was the one who sent the other to talk to you.

Anyone have any tried and true quick topics they discuss with these people to get their gears working?

I just tell them to fuck off. I have no time and space for them. I know your circumstances are different, I wish I could give you another suitable answer.

Becoming a jw actually made me a much more worldly person.

i was raised a catholic from birth to age 15, that's when my dad started to study with some jw's that came to our door.

i was too young/ naive to notice how my lifelong friends were slowly being replaced with so called " outstanding spiritual youths".. anyway, there was randy and kevin, the sons of the po from the hall, everyone thought that they were the most spiritual people i could hang out with.

Been there done that myself. That's how it was with many of the "spiritual youth" of one of the congregations I grew up.

I have the feeling that you may have discovered/experienced those things with catholic friends too, though.
