Moving to Minnesota
by HappyDad inyou probably think i need mental counseling but i am moving from southwest florida to minnesota.
i was just there last week in the -29 degree weather to close on a house i bought in oakdale, minnesota.
being a florida resident for 5 years has taught me that it is no longer the paradise that people think it is.

Minnesota sucks, the cold, the politics now seems to be a Muslim haven and idiot leftist strong hold. They elected a terrorist to the house. Florida has hurricanes lived through a few and left full time living there because of it. Crowded by north east idiots? Yep in winter. Winters are great. Warm weather, just cool enough to make it great. I got to know the back roads and how to avoid 41, and 75 ect and hits places like Webster's huge flea market, Micanopy, Mount Dora and other places that are great fun. The races in Daytona bike week, St. Augustine, you can have Orlando. Key West is great, Miami has some very cool things to do. Its very unique. As for living there full time no way. I spent 14 years there. Enough. But in winter I am thinking of taking a TT down for a couple of months when the Northern south here is 30 degrees.

4th of july US, Father and mothers day, Labor day US, April fools day, Ground hog day, Guy Fawkes day. I know in several congregations I went to there was always a debate on is it a sin to go see the 4th fireworks. And some would even say if you can see them from your home you should not set up a chair and watch.

Active JW's - Does None of This Bother You?
by The Fall Guy inthanks to atlantis and his sources, we are able to examine material from the alleged "faithful slave" which is intended only for the eyes of the shepherds wolves in the congregation.. information needed for visit of circuit overseer .
all congregation accounts records covering the period since the last visit, which would include any bankbook being used and the records for any additional accounts being kept by the congregation.
(do you have excess money which should have been given to us?).

Fall guy, but you started to have doubts first. I was saying that JWs who are still true believers will not look at anything critical of the cult. When they start to have doubts on the teachings is when they will start to look at information other than what the cult gives them. I can not say it never happens but I doubt its much. When you think you have the truth and you believe that sites like this are demon driven you run from them.

Do you really think any true JWs are here? I doubt it very much. If they have a lot of doubts and are looking maybe but every kool aid drinker I ever knew would shut you down if you even looked like you were talking trash about the cult. No I don't believe they are here.

Trump may be impeached in the house. But I doubt he will be even in the house voted out. Impeachment is just the process. Bill the rapist Clinton was impeached and it went nowhere. So to will this. Trump may be president for a second term. It depends on the economy and who the dems run. They are turning crazy leftist and the country is still center right.

Legal concerns about: "picnics"
by Darth FayDehr in"congregation picnic"2.
"congregation gathering"3.
"spontaneous gathering of jws”.

When I was young in the 70s it seemed that there was a Congregational picnic a few times a year. Some times it was even hosted by non JWs or even weak JWs who only would come to memorial. No one thought a thing about it. We all got together and brought a dish to pass and played baseball swam and had a bonfire. I noticed over the years the society got more and more anal about it. They never came out and said you can't but they did the whole negative thing when it was mentioned. It put a damper on the get together's. Then about the middle of the 70s a more harsh take on DFed people made it more restrictive. Now I don't hear about these types of things anymore. They may happen but not like years ago. I heard before I left the cult that it was not good to have football or baseball competitions.

Is Russia "right" about presecuting Jehovah's Witnesses?
by iliketreasure injehovah's witnesses are presecuted in russia.
on par with the is and other terroristic groups.
it happened when the anti-extremism laws were extended to non-violent groups.. i don't believe that russia actually cares for the well-being of their citizens with this move and probably merely a law to stop other political forces (and the jws are one in a way, since their gather authority over large groups of people and also have their own political and judicial institutiona), but are they right about it anyway?.

I think that the WBTS may not be bombers but they are destructive non the less. Most other religions do not destroy family's and use mind control to force their converts to toe the line. I think a good step would be to strip them of tax exempt status. You don't have to go the Russia rout just take away their tax status and you have given a death strike. Let them keep their property just tax the crap out of it.

Its not persecution in my book. I know it may fit the strict def. But its like saying a rapist is being persecuted. They are destructive. They cause problems in families and countries. They don't bring together they separate. I would be for a world wide ban.
