  Elders intervening in family issues

  does anyone know of any good scriptures or reference articles that i can show an elder to hopefully have him stop intervening in a family issue?

  i already told him that i am the head of the house and that they're usurping my headship but they didn't seem to get the message.

  Tell him next time that you are recording the conversation "for quality purposes" -

  I told them that they were more than welcome to "come and see me" for a Barbecue and Beer but not to have a Tribunal -

  Should they call me in for a JC, I will tell them that the entire proceedings will be videoed and I will have 2 "assistants" with me - My BiL [an intelligent non-witness and a lawyer /- friend who has offered her services] Also that there is a possibility that I will "broadcast" the said JC on various avenues of Social Media - Cant wait for the day -

  Very apologist and the proof-reading of the Grammar is pretty bad for a Masters Thesis - lots of errors.

  Also there are no real conclusions drawn that could be regarded as new / remarkable / food for thought etc

  Especially biased are her views regarding the "errors" that WT have made - as brought out in the Walsh Case - as being no big deal and an almost natural consequence of being imperfect men ! ?

  It is therefore no surprise that she admits to having been at odd with James Pentons works on certain issues.

  The 1975 Generation---are they still around?

  i was raised as a jw and 1975 expectations were pretty intense.

  as i recall, most people did not leave after the failed expectations but many s l o w e d down.

  now, i think most of the 1975 witnesses are gone or barely in.. is the older generation still around in the kingdom halls or are they much gone?.

  did anyone experience a disassociation announcement during the public meeting instead during the service meeting?.

  in my case it was announced the next day that we submitted our letter and this was on sunday instead of waiting for the service meeting on thursday..

  On our morning Talk Radio this morning a caller told of his family in Devon who were cock-sure it would be a Stay vote but decided to vote Go as a protest against the govt. ! ....................................

  So........as of this morning ...What is Great Britain ? Geo-Politically that is ?

  Other stats on the UK TV's showed that a large number of >35 yr olds who wanted to Stay did not pitch at the polls and that the vast number of Go's [who did pitch in numbers] was <65 yrs ? Is that kinda correct ?
