  update on this:.

  just been to the police station with my friends where we were asked individually to identify aknife.

  it looks identical to the one we saw.

  Question for PIMOS but all welcome

  so once pimo how do you deal with going to the meetings, ministry, social getotgethers, conventions assemblies?.

  for one you know it is all off key,.

  two your 2 hours or more so just wasted (not counting the time getting ready,travelling etc).

  With PIMO AND POMI, I can understand them not wanting to be there but being there for personal reasons. What about those who are PIMI who go to the hall and then wait around in the toilets and other areas just chatting. I have seen elders, their wives and others doing it, often elders preparing their parts for the night during the meeting. What is the point of that when you are missing out on all the "spiritual food"?

  Library now cleared out

  well, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.

  during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.

  i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.

  I do have some digital copies of divine purpose, plan of the ages, finished mystery, aid to bible ,proclaimers book. and a few others.I bought these copies for $5 each which is not a lot compared to what books are sold for nowadays.

  I needed these for some projects I was doing.

  So my suggestion to anyone who has the full comprehensive library, please save it or make a scanned copy of it all for future references. I would have kept em all but binned all of it ages ago.Believe me it was a right comprehensive fullblown library with lots of study material which no longer is in print today. i regret having done that today ie binning them.

  An elder noticed a brother asleep at the kingdom hall. So the elder picked up his bible, and then tapped on the brother's shoulder. The brother opened his eyes, and the elder showed him Mark 13:35 ("Keep looking, keep awake, for you do not know when the appointed time is"). The brother calmly took the bible and flipped to 1 Thessalonians 4:11. He handed the bible back to the brother and went back to sleep.

  My wife insisted I make a call

  I Called up. It Was A Liquor Shop Offer : 'Buy 3 & Get 1 Free'...

  I remember once or twice I have gone out during the meeting to a near by takeaway, had something to eat ,then returned. So enjoyed doing it my way. Eyebrows were raised if someone saw me but I was quite confident and not giving guilty looks , or guilty face. When one starts being apologetic, or sneaky thats when heads start to roll.

  Hi Bethellies...

  Many times when I did not feel like it then I would just sit during the song.Did get some weird looks but I did it my way.

  Whenever there was supposed to be show of hands money related I would remain neutral and would not raise my hand at all for agree or disagree. i did it my way.

  I would be reading a novel on my tablet throughout, have shopped, browsed sales and actually paid for items too. So did not feel like wasting, rather chilling but in a different place. At the assemblies same thing , even listening to music. If i manage to get a hotel on the hall premises or walking distance , I would just go for an hour at lunch time show my face to a couple or so bros and sisi from my cong and leave, Enjoying the day in my hotel room chilling doing my own thing. i did it my way.
