they are mere men and no better than you!

even if it wasn’t a judicial interrogation , you should never feel obligated to them.

I am so sorry you have to go through this when you are dealing with illness of your wife.You should be given a lot more moral support and help not otherwise when you are going through a difficult time yourself. I hope she is much better now.

Flat Earth and Jw. Not possible?

sorry for my poor english, i hope to make not too many mistakes.

im a jw and in the last three years i have studied a lot the topic of the earth being flat.

i have a good scientific background so im not stupid or crazy.

Last I heard OP went to measure the edge of the "flat Earth", it was snowing ,he slipped and fell off.

Now he is flying in space and He is taking the opportunity to study and do a degree in space ,somehow will find his way back and educate us on how space is not space .Better still he will find the aliens with their advanced technology find his way back to earth and enlighten us that the earth is indeed flat .

Capitalizing names

just a random thought here but does anyone else notice than when the name "elder" or "circuit overseer" appears in the organization's magazines and books they're always lower case even though they're proper nouns and should be elder and circuit overseer... but branch committee member, governing body helper, governing body member, they get to be capitalized.

another subtle indication of how the governing body and other high-ranking elites see themselves, i think.

If anyone wants to know, The above mentioned watchtower article in paragraph 12 states "the GB is neither inspired nor perfect. It can make mistakes when explainign the Bible or directing the organization......"

It makes for an interesting read.
