My Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain Moment...

this is my first post.

i am physically in and mentally out.

well i will not be offering a tl/dr version as that would be too difficult and it would also be an oversimplification of how i got to see the man behind the curtain.. my story begins at the 2016 regional convention of jehovah's witnesses.

Thank you for sharing your story.

I also was crying when I saw the video.I was crying for myself as Ihad just woken up to TTATT and was emotionally raw and in pain .I was crying for dying a spiritual death at that convention. Bros and siss thought that i was so touched by the video. That was a very ,very sad day for me,as I still feel that a part of me died altogether that day at that very convention.

I am POMO now till the day of reckoning from the eldubs to check whats going on with me .

Is there a new Date by the Watchtower for the End of System?

not sure if this topic has being covered recently.. my son asked me a question if the jw's have in the recent months being pushing a new end date to the system?

he was telling me about how his mother has being on him again about the urgency of the end of this system of things and he needs to do something asap.

i told him i am not aware of any new dates as i have being away from the cult for over 20 years.

Who is the better example in the congregation?

If you mean 5 minutes as Massive in the car just to pull out a verse to discuss with the person they are going to shepherd;then yeah thats so much effort and sacrifice ! I am grateful for that....noooooot !

I have seen these elders come to the house ,then sit in the car and discuss what to say just before knocking on the door. So much Holy Shit working on them.

If you mean during the meeting preparing for the talk they are about to give, then hell ya what a sacrificing brother he is ......noooot ! (seen this often too).

If you mean travelling to their best buddy's house for the day/weekend, on the pretense of giving a talk, wow unbelievable sacrifice of Massive time . I take my hat off to them....nooooot !

All a farce.

A Lighter Note

a cowboy rode into town and stopped at a saloon for a drink.

unfortunately, the locals always had a habit of picking on strangers, which he was.when he finished his drink, he found his horse had been stolen.

he went back into the bar, handily flipped his gun into the air, caught it above his head without even looking and fired a shot into the ceiling.. "which one of you sidewinders stole my horse?!

No one answered.

"Alright, I'm gonna have another beer, and if my horse ain't back outside by the time I finish, I'm gonna do what I dun in Texas! And I don't like to have to do what I dun in Texas!"

Some of the locals shifted restlessly. The man, true to his word, had another beer, walked outside, and his horse has been returned to the post. He saddled up and started to ride out of town.

The bartender wandered out of the bar and asked, "Say partner, before you go... what happened in Texas?"

The cowboy turned back and said, "I had to walk home."

More than 70 Jehovah's Witness sexual abuse victims speak up after Belgian documentary

more than 70 victims of sexual abuse within the jehovah's witnesses have come forward with their stories since the public network aired a documentory about it last week, reports the nonprofit organisation reclaimed voices belgium.. the documentary brought to light that the organisation had been covering up sexual abuse of minors via an internal 'disciplinary' system for years, concluded pano.

that way, none of the claims were reported to the police.

one of the witnesses in the documentary was very straightforward in calling it "a paradise for paedophiles".according to ciaosn, an independent centre set up by belgium's department of justice to study sectarian organisations, there are similar findings in 12 other countries.

my birthday is coming soon.this is what i normally have done (not on my birthdays since i was .

still pimi then) in the past for days/ dates that are close to my heart and special/ even people.
