Will Watchtower ever allow Jehovah's Witnesses women equality? Jimmy Carter's thoughts.

ran across this interesting read today penned by former us president jimmy carter.

he is "losing his religion" over it.

he makes reference to historical evidence that women played a much bigger role in early christianity.

No ! Never ! It goes against God and the Bible. Genesis says she will be just a complement never an equal. Throught out the bible you never read about women in high positions, always lower than men n submissive to men. All twelve disciples were men. Many of the stories we read center on males, including those of Moses, Abraham, Paul, David and Joshua. But what does the Bible say about women?

10 Bible Promises for Women

You are loved. (Gal. 2:20, John 3:16)
You are not condemned. (Rom. 8:1), (unless it is your father or husband who are given the headship club)
You are included. (Eph. 2:19) (in menial duties and things that everyone si included in)
You are accepted. (Rom. 15:7) (yeaeee women are blessed......not!)
You aren’t alone. (John 16:32) (yeah you have a headship overlord over you and the elders...all men)
You are wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) (wonderfully made weak so results in all kinds of abuse..thank you)
You are free. (John 8:36) (really..! under headship arrangement women are always under someone 's thumb/thump, if you get the pun)
You are God’s. (John 1:12) (
You are chosen. (Eph. 1:4, Col. 3:12) (to do cleaning scrubbign cooking etc)
You are no longer a slave to sin. (Rom. 6:6) (but a slave to the elders, fathers, brothers husbands...headship club)

All this BS does not give women any rights equally.

Please do not share references that t was a woman who first saw the resurrected jesus etc.... It still doesn tmena much for equal rights.

after all he only had 3 and half years to perform his ministry so every day counted.

instead of witnessing to satan couldn't he have made better use of his time reaching as many people as possible?

i've watched some of the programming about the event.

i think the best was on pbs's "the american experience.

Disciplinary Action: Protocol

Even the so called "worldly/wicked ones" know how to show courtesy to people when having any disciplinary meeting. But what about the so called "God-oriented/ H spirt directed organisation" when having a judicial mtg or any disciplinary meeting? SQUAT ! ZILCH!

Most of the time they do not even let you defend yourself; explain yourself; they do not even listen to what you have got to say; they do not have the courage to answer your questions !!!

That is such an awful cruel practice n a tyranny!

Update:The Unbelievable Just Happened!

so if it seems abrupt sorry, or if any questions do ask n i will fill you in.. update to the news of 5 people leaving(2 couples n a single sis).. they have been in touch with my pimi friends( the ones who shared their news with me).

in conversation my name came up.. one couple who have been very involved in spiritual activities .they are a nice couple from what little i know about them.they had moved around quite a bit in need greater too so they have come in contact with lots of boe's, co's, r n f; n experience with them which goes without saying.. long story short while moving about to different places, they heard about the csa lawsuits.

They have been in touch with my PIMI friends( the ones who shared their news with me). In conversation my name came up.

One couple who have been very involved in spiritual activities .They are a nice couple from what little I know about them.They had moved around quite a bit in need greater too so they have come in contact with lots of Boe's, Co's, r n f; n experience with them which goes without saying.

Long story short while moving about to different places, they heard about the CSA lawsuits. Did not believe it at first as one normally does.

Hears it a couple more times, wherever he heard it, imquired with one of the elders who straight off said there is nothing to it . just lies to reproach jehoover.

He lets it be but it continues to nag him but he does not know what to do ie how to check it out! (when you are in a cult, everythign becomes an uphill struggle if you are going against the current).

With time, he forgets it. But one day when he was visiting another cong with regard to RBC, since it was a Saturday, he n his wife decide to join the field ministry group. On the field he meets a guy who first listens to them n then asks them if he knows about the CSA n questions them about our policies. The couple take the opportunity to satisfy thier lingering doubts to be substantiated with evience. Sure enough this guy gives them links n also show them a few videos on youtube about ARC. This disturbed them deeply n they thought of doing more research when they get home. Sure enough they did, the more they did,the more they felt disturbed, upset n anxious.

Ultimately they approache a couple of Co's separately n asked about this.They both said "dont pay too much attention to it, it has got nothing to do with you. Sometimes things happen , it is all being dealt with by the society".

This was their exit-ticket. They approached the local boe for answers but as usual they showed the finger . Then on they immersed themselves more into researching n have been looking at the links given to them by the guy they met on the ministry.

They want to meet up at another convenient tiem to get the low down for my waking up n all.

By the way this couple just in passing told me that the other close couple-friend of theirs who also left coz there were some individual incidents in the way that they was treated (people not living up to bible basic standards, lying afterwards outrightly, being openly dishonest,) that led them towards finally researching those aspects, but in the end it really was as simple as: they believed a lie, they stopped believing the lie, started accepting proven facts.

This is all I have for now.
