  update on this:.

  just been to the police station with my friends where we were asked individually to identify aknife.

  it looks identical to the one we saw.

  UPDATE ON THIS:

  Just been to the Police station with my friends where we were asked individually to identify aknife. It looks identical to the one we saw. Apparently two bodies have been found in the park yesterday, stabbed and cut s to the bodies.someone stumbled upon them while walking or jogging. Everyhting is hush hush at the moment.

  We all are just glad we escaped but feel sorry for whoever got cauhgt out. Not evn sure if it is related. Police do not want to say anything to us.Still jumpy and scared.

  Just thought you might wanna know.

  Hi LoisLane...

  We were paralysed with fear, at the same time, we knew we could not get out without being seen by them.The paths in the park are all open and straight, wood ,bushes start just 30,40 yards away from the beaten path. sink or save situation.

  We were also confused about the why they were doing what they were doing .It all looked and felt so off, abnormal specially given the hour of the night, so we thought best to stay put. Without understanding a situation , jumping out and confronting them would have been the death of us.

  Thank god none of us were the screaming , shireking person one sees in movies.

  "How did you sense that after 3 go 'rounds, you felt it was a good time to go? Was it a collective decision?
  

  We did not actually decide it was a good time to go.Actually we stayed there frozen in fear till day break ie all night from 11pmish to day break.

  The light and the fact that we di not see any more of them for quiet a long while helped us decide to leave. I f not we would have waited for some dog walkers or joggers to come by and then left after them.

  The beaten paths are quiet open so if you are on the path you can be seen from quiet afar till the path turns , if you get my drift so comin gout of hiding meant giving our positions away. We di not even know what was going off . the knives made us stay still and remain hidden.

  Dunno fi you read the update in the post . We were asked to go identify a knife that the police found near the area, also two bodies that had been stabbed and had cuts to the body.

  Humans are the most scary beings.

  LV101, I have had numerous weird stalkers, muggers and catcalling borderline dangerous encounters but this takes the cake I suppose.

  Although I am cautious but sometimes you do not always get the signals when you are in the thick of it, onl y after the incident.

  We are just mulling over worst case scenarios here and thinking of how to safeguard ourselves in the future.Precautions always better than a cure.

  We have contacted the police . Couldnt give much of a description of the guys as could not see much clearly and we stayed put hidden.

  We did not leave the house at all today, we are all jumpy. Hope to feel better soon..

  Ordered defence spray for us all.

  Something weird and scary happened to us last nihgt. We had a few friends over for the weekend. We love to go hiking and long walks wherever and whenever we can. So as Usual around 11pm we decided to go for a walk in a country park 7 minutes from us (although main gates are closed at 7pm, other open paths are there for access.). As we were nearing one of the accesses, we notice a car passing us slowly,(this is all realization after the incident).We go through and it is a cloudy and windy night so more dark than moonlighted.Most of the area is woods, huge trees, with specific pathways leading you towards the centre of the park and round it.But in the night it looks kinda spooky. Anyways, we are just enjoying our walk,gone past midnight, we hear some rustling every now and again.Thought nothing of it. Kept on for some more and decided to sit somehwere and chill.

  We choose a spot which is kinda like a hole underneath the trees and shrubs and bushes as a huge branch had fallen and drying, which made a pefect spot to sit on and chat.(I have been here and done this many times so I knew).

  After just 15 minutes or so we heard some whispers and rustling.Suddenly we all went quiet(5 of us,3 females,2 males). It was just odd. Then we saw two largely build,stocky men walkign along (we were well hidden coz of the hole which we did not realize before) as if looking for someon or something. We thought possibly walkers like us but they were acting weirdly. Lokking back and forth as if searchign at the same time watching for god knows what.Suddenly one of my friends says look at their hands.I nearly fainted, they both had some kind of large knife.Immediately we all stopped breathing,like this is life or death,they are looking for us.

  We all just lay low and quiet did not move or breath, not knowing what to do. They made atleast three full rounds of the park or semi park looking fo rus . Once when they were passing us one of them said "f### it, missed them,lets go back".

  All os us just stayed there for fear till daybreak, freezing cold and tired but dare not move in case they were still around.

  Narrow escape, We dont know why they were looking for us but looking at the knife not something nice.

  Sworn off parks and woods and hiking I suppose for a long time.
