When the great tribulation starts, the generation that sees it start will still be around for when the Armageddon conclusion comes, because it's only 3 1/2 years that "the last days leading to the climax of Armageddon" lasts.

Are we living in the LAST DAYS?
by Fisherman inare we living in the prophetic last days that will climax into armageddon?
if this is true then how long should it take?
as jw saw it, wt compared timing to within a generation using 70 ad as a parallel.

The "last days" of Jerusalem started in the first century. Then Jerusalem was destroyed.
The "last days" of this entire system begin once the great tribulation starts. Then it's 3 1/2 years of tribulation, "a short period of time".
So, no, we're not in the "last days leading to Armageddon" yet.

No more judicial committee if maybe suicidal
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inthe new direction in the new elders book is very clear.
absolutely no jd if there is a suspicion of suicidal thoughts.. this is obviously due to the high number of suicidal attempts after the announcement that someone is no longer a jw and the shunning that accompanied it.. so what will happen now going forward if situations arise where there would formerly have been a jd and they say there is suicidal thoughts?.
i can’t see it working, but elders stick rigidly to what it says in the book.

ExBethelitenowPIMA, here is something you said on a thread four months ago...
"the situation is many of us are PIMA and all putting on a front, sometimes saying something we don’t fully believe...that’s where I’m at."
I don't know why you are "putting on a front" but it is obvious you are putting on a front.
The shunning doctrine in the borg is not going to change. The borg is going to be torn down because shunning (and many of the other horrid doctrines) are not Jehovah's way, not Jesus' way, not the Bible way. God's way is love. Those guys at Bethel refuse to change. The elders refuse to change.
"'Come to Bethʹel and commit transgression...'" (Amos 4:4)
Jehovah knows what goes on at Bethel and on the elder bodies. He has been warning those guys at Bethel.
"But you did not come back to me,’ declares Jehovah." (Amos 4:9)
Jehovah has not changed. (Malachi 3:6) He has allowed the nations to "devour" His Name People before. (Joel 1:2-4)) He's about to do it again. (Amos 3:7)
"Get ready to meet your God." (Amos 4:12)
The Bethels will not survive the great tribulation. All the properties and real estate and investments and KHs currently owned by the JWborg will be completely taken away by the governments in the days ahead. It's as good as done.
ExBethelitenowPIMA, you'd be wise to warn your buddies at Bethel that they better find new housing, preferably sooner rather than later.
"For the vision is yet for its appointed time, And it is rushing toward its end, and it will not lie." (Habakkuk 2:3)

"Can you tell me any Bethel Elders you know of on the service desk or on the Branch committee?"
It wouldn't be proper for me to give out their entire personal cellphone numbers, but I have spoken with or texted with the following individuals in the past few months (as I already explained to you on that other linked thread that you didn't read)...
M Steven Lett (514) 560-xxxx
Seth Hyatt (251) 228-xxxx
Robert Ciranko (845) 270-xxxx
Tony Morris (914) 282-xxxx
Robert Hendriks (631) 553-xxxx
I told them I wouldn't share their personal cellphone numbers, because that would be rude.

ExBethelitenowPIMA, you started three threads in the past five days where plenty of ex-JWs who have experienced shunning poured out their heart to you in response to topics including suicidal feelings and what could be changed in the borg.
Did you even read what most of them posted? Did you try to commend them or comfort them, especially the ones who have been through the ringer?
Nope. You didn't even notice.
Do you really care about "change" in the borg? Do you really care about "shepherding" the flock?
These guys in the borg don't care either.
"Easyprompt I am an experienced elder, I have been in Bethel for many years and I suspect I know far more than you. As my name suggests I’m now out of Bethel but I go back there all the time. I was there at Chelmsford again recently.
Can I ask you what makes you think you know so much? Have you only recently been out or has it been a long time?
Can you tell me any Bethel Elders you know of on the service desk or on the Branch committee?
You sound like you do know some higher ups please tell me their names because I probably worked with them for years"
Here are few pictures of some people I know at Bethel...
One of the elders in my old KH has tuned pianos at Bethel as a commuter for years. His name is Mel. He was at Bethel in his younger years. His son, Jeffrey, has worked as Mark Sanderson's secretary. Sam is also from my old hall. You might know Neil and his wife, they're from England. You've probably heard of Robert Hendriks before too.
If you would read the links I shared with you on the other thread, you would see these things for yourself. I've already given you plenty of evidence that I know what I'm talking about when I tell you the elders don't care, the branch doesn't care, the GB doesn't care.

Do you even know any elders, ExBethelitenowPIMA?
You have NO CLUE what you are talking about.
The "elders" don't care. They are trained to not care. They are borg. You keep talking about stuff you have no clue about. Have you ever even been in the JWborg?

enoughisenough is right.
ExBethelitenowPIMA said: "The way the Borg works is these super fine apostles make these new direction rules at the top, who have no experience of real life never been parents or done a days work in the real world. They have no idea what things are like today having to get an education to be able to cope with the high cost of living."
ExBethelitenowPIMA, That's not true.
For instance, Anthony Morris had kids, an education, and experienced "real life"(whatever you mean by that🙄).
The men and women working at Bethel know how to work hard.
The problem with the borg isn't just "the way the borg works". It's that there even Is A Borg.
The Bethel commune setup is not scripturally based.
The FDS/GB exaltation is not scripturally based.
The disfellowshipping doctrine is not scripturally based.
To attempt to patch up something that is intrinsically wrong would be foolish.
"Nobody sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old outer garment, for the new piece pulls away from the garment and the tear becomes worse. Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins. If they do, then the wineskins burst and the wine spills out and the wineskins are ruined. But people put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
The borg way isn't Jesus' way. The borg way is busted. Jesus is coming to make all things new.
He said, "Hold fast what you have until I come."

No, they don't.
ExBethelitenowPIMA, Massimo Introvigne says the same thing as you, that the elders always go by what is written in their publications, but he says a lot of things he really knows nothing about.
Have you ever been through a "shepherding call"? Have you ever been through a judicial hearing or an appeal hearing?
The elders don't "always follow" what is in their book. Only when it's convenient for them.
Why are you trying to advertise for the borg elder book anyway? Do you have stock in their "publishing company" or something?
