@TonusOH, this might be one of the links...(cut-n-pasted from an earlier conversation...)
"Pages 25-27 contains testimony from a court case where Maria described C. T. Russell's ways...
https://archive.org/details/SomeFactsAndMoreFactsAboutCharlesTazeRussell/page/n29/mode/2up
The WTBT$ has a history of twisting the truth. Here is C.T. Russell's own testimony from The Watchtower, 1972, 6/15, page 384
https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1972449
"...and when she desired to come back I totally refused, except upon a promise that she should make reasonable acknowledgement of the wrong course she had been pursuing for a year, and give some assurance of being a friend and not an enemy."
C.T. Russell was willing to disregard the Bible's counsel on marriage in order to cover his butt. Russell wanted Maria to lie. He wanted her to lie about his abuse problem in order to protect his image. He wouldn't let her come home unless she lied and said "oh, Charles didn't do anything wrong!" So he banished her. It's the same thing that happens today. They don't want people who bow to Jehovah; they want people who bow to the elders and who bow to the GB/FDS and bow to the WTBT$. That's why these guys want to keep the disfellowshipping doctrine the way they do. It's not to keep the congregation clean. It's not to protect kids. It's to protect their interests. It's for their own sovereignty. Their sovereignty is about to come to an end. They are supposed to be serving as brothers, not kings. "...the land is unclean, and I will bring punishment on it for its error, and the land will vomit its inhabitants out..." 😵💫🤢🤮"

"The so called apostates of first century later became the Catholic Church. These apostates like Saint Athanasius, theologian, ecclesiastical statesman, and Egyptian national leader decided which books would be part of the Bible. We are now following what they decided. So does every JW become an apostate?
Has anyone done research on canonization of the Bible? Would love to know more."
Jehovah is the God of Truth. He inspired the holy scriptures. Any book that is not completely true is not part of the Bible.
The Hebrew-Aramaic Bible Canon was set before Jesus' ministry. He affirmed that "the Law and the Prophets" were God's Word, and quoted from them.
Contested Hebrew-Aramaic Apocryphal books are easily identified, because either they have "fairy-tale"-esch appendages or teachings that are contrary to the Bible or do not directly contribute to the theme of the Bible.
For instance, Tobit has some crazy stuff about a guy who went blind when some sparrows pooped in his eyes while he was sleeping (I'm totally not kidding) and also some lady who never had sex even though she was married seven times because a wicked demon name "Asmodeus" kept showing up and cutting them off. An angel named "Raphael" supposedly shows up and helps a dude figure out how to heal "medicinally" by shoving fish gall in his dad's eyes and to kick out the demon by burning the fish heart and liver in the presence of the demonized person. It's totally bogus.
Maccabees, while containing a lot of battle information and king stuff, is completely different from the way the books of Samuel or Kings or Chronicles are written, in that they do not praise Jehovah or provide any useful information as regards the identifying the lineage of the Messiah or prophecies. To the contrary, some of Maccabees contributes to the later misunderstandings of the phrase "gentile times" that gets thrown around even today as if it's a "Bible teaching", when, in fact, the phrase "gentile times" is a holdover from the Jewish sectarian hope of gaining an earthly kingdom and is not what Jesus was referring to in the gospels. The "gentile times" teaching is a Jewish "fairy-tale" that has been adopted by much of Christendom and manifests itself in the JWBorg 1914 false doctrine.
As far as the canonicity of the Christian Greek Scriptures, it's the same idea - if they have some kind of stuff that doesn't jive with the rest of the Bible - like "The Shepherd of Hermas" where a lady comes back in ghost form to advise a guy, or the teachings of Ignatius or Polycarp that encourage worship of men with all their GB-like exaltation of clergy and misapplication about "the faithful and discreet slave" illustration, or the Didache with antichrist disfellowshipping-like ostracism and proscribed Pharisaical prayers/fastings and partial baptisms...just read those "books" and you know they're not part of the holy scriptures. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or a Rhodes Scholar to figure it out.
The gospels, John's letters and Revelation, Peter's letters, James, Jude, and Paul's letters all add to the understanding of the Bible's theme and don't contradict either the Hebrew-Aramaic books or Jesus' teachings. They are clearly part of the Bible canon.
Each book in the canon fits perfectly with the rest of the "song" of the Bible, Jehovah's message of love toward His family.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 -"the dead know nothing at all"
by aqwsed12345 inthe narrator of the book of ecclesiastes had very little knowledge of many things that jesus and his apostles later preached.
the author does not make statements, but only wonders (thinks, observes, often raises questions, and leaves them open).
he looked at the world based on the law of moses and found nothing but vanity, as the earthly reward promised in the law did not always accompany good deeds and earthly punishment for evil deeds.

Hebrews 10:12,13
"But this man offered one sacrifice for sins for all time and sat down at the right hand of God, from then on waiting until his enemies should be placed as a stool for his feet."
After Jesus was resurrected, he went to heaven. He was not enthroned right away.
He was not enthroned in 1914.
When he is enthroned, he will cast the Devil down, as is described in Revelation 12:7-12:
"And war broke out in heaven: Miʹcha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”
It's not until after the Devil is cast out of heaven that Jesus takes "home" those who are "born again".
Revelation describes that action of the resurrected 144,000 going to heaven as "the marriage of the Lamb".
A man doesn't take his "bride" home to a house full of enemies. Jesus doesn't take any of the new creation home until after the Devil is cast out of heaven. The Devil isn't cast out of heaven until after Jesus is enthroned.
Paul's writings in Thessalonians show that the "bride" goes all together. Those of the 144,000 who fell asleep in death are still sleeping. They didn't go to heaven in the first century, because Paul and John said there were false teachers who taught the resurrection already occurred but those teachers were lying. The GB today is also lying - the anointed ones who died have not been resurrected to heaven, they are still dead.
They will be resurrected during the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation, and people on earth will see them, just like they saw Jesus when he was resurrected and before he ascended to heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:4-6, 22,23, 49-54
"he was raised up on the third day according to the Scriptures; and that he appeared to Ceʹphas, and then to the Twelve. After that he appeared to more than 500 brothers at one time, most of whom are still with us, though some have fallen asleep in death..."
The anointed/born-again ones who fell asleep in death back in the first century were not immediately raised up. They stayed asleep in death.
"For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. But each one in his own proper order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence."
The "presence" referred to means after Jesus takes the throne in heaven at the beginning of the great tribulation. The "presence" of Christ in Kingdom power will be during the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation.
"And just as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we will bear also the image of the heavenly one. But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Look! I tell you a sacred secret: We will not all fall asleep in death, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the blink of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this which is corruptible must put on incorruption, and this which is mortal must put on immortality. But when this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: “Death is swallowed up forever.”"
It is during the latter part of the 3 1/2 years of the tribulation that the anointed who are asleep will be raised up and those still alive will be changed and all together they will join the Lord in the "marriage of the Lamb" for the final battle of Armageddon.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
"For this is what we tell you by Jehovah’s word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep in death; because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord."
The GB and other clergy of Christendom have been teaching for a long time that "when you're dead, you're not dead," but they are part of the apostasy foretold.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
"However, brothers, concerning the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you not to be quickly shaken from your reason nor to be alarmed either by an inspired statement or by a spoken message or by a letter appearing to be from us, to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here. Let no one lead you astray in any way, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction."
The "man of lawlessness", the religious institutions and the leaders associated with them, will be destroyed and removed from power at the beginning of "the Day of Jehovah" and "the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ", a 3 1/2 years when there will be great tribulation. The "gathering together" of the 144,000 takes place after all the religious institutions are destroyed. Jesus also spoke of this in the gospels and in Revelation.
Everybody will see them when they are resurrected (that's part of why people on earth who doubted God at that point will be afraid), but until that time comes, Paul, John, Mary, Peter, Stephen...all those first century anointed ones and all the ones who have died since, they are still asleep in death and they can't do anything right now because, just as is written in Ecclesiastes 9:5..."the dead know nothing at all."

Thanks to the author of the article! It's a pleasure to be one of many many messengers shedding "light" on the JWBorg's shenanigans, isn't it!😁 Jehovah of Armies can use whatever army He wants to get a job done...Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, frogs, dogs, hail, the VAA, a little guy with a slingshot, some dudes with clay pots and torches, a worm - "He Causes To Become" 😁 Everybody's going to know that the JWBorg 1914 teaching is Not from Jehovah. He's the God of Truth. The WTBT$ leaders do not loyally cling to the truth.
Here was a fun little video that also summarizes a few of the "recommended medical practices" brought out in WTBT$ throughout the years...

I think this might be the aforementioned 1991 Awake article Gorb alluded to...

"Jehovah’s Witnesses firmly believe that the United Nations is going to play a major role in world events in the very near future. No doubt these developments will be very exciting. And the results will have a far-reaching impact on your life. We urge you to ask Jehovah’s Witnesses in your neighborhood for more details on this matter. The Bible clearly paints a picture showing that the United Nations will very shortly be given power and authority. The UN will then do some very astonishing things that may well amaze you."
Here is a new Beroean Pickets video including info on how Gilead missionaries were sent to tour at UN as part of their "class" in 1991.

aqwsed12345, I don't agree with a lot of the Trinity type stuff you write about, but we do have some things in common.
Also I appreciate your zeal. I am proud of your tenacious spirit despite all the flack you get back. I know you have affection for God and the Bible even though your understanding of Him isn't completely accurate. (Who of us knows everything? Not one of us.)
We've all got something in common - we're here together. That's nice. This is just the beginning of forever. It'll be nice to all hang out someday in the future good times ahead.
Love you family of fellow "freaks" and outcasts!🤪🥰😘😁
aqwsed12345, if writing long long posts on that stuff makes you happy, I don't think it's hurting anybody - I do think most of us skip over a lot of it - and I don't agree with a lot of it, but I won't shun you. I am so sick of all that shunning stuff. I am thankful you are willing to talk with me.
Hope you have a good day, aqwsed12345 sweetie.🌷
