AnonyMous said: "the Jews wouldâve noted that Jesus was a spiritist or practicing witchcraft/divination as the few times seeing into the future is actually mentioned in the Bible (eg. Solomon consulting with the witch of Endor)"
Um, it was King Saul who went to the witch of Endor, not Solomon.
And as regards Jesus being a prophet, he himself confirmed...
John 4:17-26
"Jesus said to her: âYou are right in saying, âI do not have a husband.â For you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. This you have said truthfully.â
"The woman said to him: âSir, I see that you are a prophet. Our forefathers worshipped on this mountain, but you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where people must worship.â
"Jesus said to her: âBelieve me, woman, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, because salvation begins with the Jews. Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these to worship him. God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.â
"The woman said to him: âI know that Mes¡siĘšah is coming, who is called Christ. Whenever that one comes, he will declare all things to us openly.â Jesus said to her: âI am he, the one speaking to you.â"
Jesus did not deny that he was a prophet. If you want to deny it, @AnonyMous, that's between you and him.
