just curious if anyone put off having kids because the end was so close.
or because of you're "ministry" or lack of suitable mates..
Grew up with that mind set. I wasn't supposed to go to junior high, much less to high school, let alone college - Armageddon was eminent.
Life was so horrible, boring, and hopeless, that I never wanted bring kids into my emptiness. But they definately encouraged everyone to wait for paradise 😒
I have a 16yo daughter - she's the best, and so glad she's not putting her life off for the apple pie in the sky paradise 😜

Could anyone please tell me why when we read the story of of Moses - when God spoke to him, asking him to go to Egypt to free his people - Moses asked... Who shall I say sent me? The reply... "I am who I am" and no name was revealed. So where and when does the name Jehovah just pop right in the bible text and everyone just accepts that this as his name?
