  hey impala for the horde lol i was a born in long story short i had no choice in the matter you do run..very fast from this cult can you believe i left in 91 as a teenager an all the brainwashing it took me 20 some years to do research on the org on my own.HAd a fear of commiting some sin against the governing body or being an apostate...after learning the real truth about the org i feel pity for my family members that blindly follow this cult and to add on when i went to the hall if you werent serious about getting baptised after a year we were told to move on so that is odd to me that these witnesses have studied 3 years with you.....and if you are ever on dragonblight look me up im diesslowly a tauren shaman

  Why doesn't god do anything tangible now?

  i was always told that god did loads of stuff that was evidence of his existance.

  ususally very brutal things too (b#st@rd).. jesus walked on water and raised the dead we are told.. it seems to me also that the older the story, the more exaggerated it is...y'know...talking snake......global flood.. there are those that claim god speaks to them now and they alone 'know' it.

  I think punk it's because there is no god,i think back on the many whippings i got as a jw kid.My father had a saying right before he would beat me he would say the only way i'll let you off is if jehovah sends an angel down here to interceed in your behave.Needless to say one never appeared the seeds of doubt were planted......1 more thing if 2 little citys could capture the attention of god so that he destroyed them,what about all the millions of people that perished praying to him...still no action.could it be there's no one on the other line?hmm

  How Cold is it Where You Are?

  with the polar vortex swirling further and further south and breaking records how cold is it where you are?.

  here in gettysburg pa last night night we hit a low of -4 degrees but we were blessed with some wind that dropped the wind chill down to -22..

  That is why i think i'm slowly moving to the side that there is no god,the whole worship me or go to hell and p.s. if you need me i won't save you or help you.Is really starting to get me to sway to the other side.

  How Long Have You Been Viewing Thiis Site? Does It Serve Its Purpose For You?

  i've been here forever.... this site still gives us some of the most up to date info about jws .

  it keeps evolving.

  sometimes it is the place to be and i think that's especially true for newbies.

  I've been here about a year, this site helps me vent and it showed me i wasn't alone, i wasn't the only one that thought jws are insane also i helps me to keep up on current events err new light

  nobody should feel obligated to explain themselves to the elders, or anyone else for that matter.

  just quietly leave and never go back if an opportunity presents itself..

  Well said punkofnice my elder father kills me when he says "we don't force anyone to stay a witness if they want to leave they can leave" he's been drinking the kool-aid for 50 years now...sigh
