  Why do I bother to wake up in the morning?

  i'm not suicidal just fed up.. i did think of suicide (briefly), but as there is no painless way and it's not something i would willingly do just in case things would have been better the day after.

  i do have a slight grain of hope.. money problems.....problems at home (that's another matter with a son up court for something he is adamant he didn't do.

  first offence but the pigs police and the cps have got charges made.

  hey punk i feel like this a lot of days indeed i didnt go to work yesterday or today because i felt this way.Birthdays will have this effect on me and you too i think,because we are reminded of the crap that we brought into in the org about never getting old and dying in this system of things.

  I recommend getting a hobby to take your mind off the stresses of daily life.I play an online game world of warcraft for the past 8 years...it helps also i have taken up archery which i always wanted to do and at the age of 40...sigh i found i enjoy it.I enjoy your comments and advice also which has help me move to the view that im a deist/atheist depending on how i feel in the morning.The thing is you are not alone many here feel the way that you do i hope this feeling passes soon.

  Avoid Going back to the JW's - Educate Yourself about Mind Control

  i've talked with some good friends on the board about this before and we seem to be in agreement : one reason ( among many ) that some disfellowshipped jw's go back and return to the wt organization is because they are full of uneeded guilt or uneeded fear because they haven't educated themselves about how the wt society uses mind control tactics to deceive them into thinking they have " nowhere else to go " .

  i understand that some dfed ones may go back to the organization for family and friends- however- it's an exrecise in futility because once you learn the truth about the truth you cannot undo what you heard.

  so some may just go back and live a fake jw life to appease family- but just think of how that can damage a person's emotional and mental health playing the fake jw game the rest of their lives !

  welcome back flipper and i agree with your advice yesterday a relative of mine called me and went on with the look at the news look at what russia is doing the king of the north,it's time for you to get your life together and for 1 brief second even with all i have found out this year i was almost longing for the company of my family members that go to the hall.

  now if i a person that was a born in that hasn't been to a meeting in over 20 years could get momentarly weak what about the ones that recently left,that are missing their conditional friends.I swear with the born in we must have some type of trigger word or words that they implanted doing all those meetings doing the week,maybe i could get some of the old songs from the kingdom hall and play them backwards lol

  International Conventions for 2014 - Landover, MD - What is an International Convention?

  have been out of touch for a while, i see that there is an 'international' convention this year in landover, md (fed ex field) and there are no english conventions in either richmond or hampton, va. what is an 'international convention', is it merely a consolidation of all the other conventions meant to whip up some fervor amongst the masses?.

  hey impala for the horde lol i was a born in long story short i had no choice in the matter you do run..very fast from this cult can you believe i left in 91 as a teenager an all the brainwashing it took me 20 some years to do research on the org on my own.HAd a fear of commiting some sin against the governing body or being an apostate...after learning the real truth about the org i feel pity for my family members that blindly follow this cult and to add on when i went to the hall if you werent serious about getting baptised after a year we were told to move on so that is odd to me that these witnesses have studied 3 years with you.....and if you are ever on dragonblight look me up im diesslowly a tauren shaman

  i was always told that god did loads of stuff that was evidence of his existance.

  ususally very brutal things too (b#st@rd).. jesus walked on water and raised the dead we are told.. it seems to me also that the older the story, the more exaggerated it is...y'know...talking snake......global flood.. there are those that claim god speaks to them now and they alone 'know' it.

  I think punk it's because there is no god,i think back on the many whippings i got as a jw kid.My father had a saying right before he would beat me he would say the only way i'll let you off is if jehovah sends an angel down here to interceed in your behave.Needless to say one never appeared the seeds of doubt were planted......1 more thing if 2 little citys could capture the attention of god so that he destroyed them,what about all the millions of people that perished praying to him...still no action.could it be there's no one on the other line?hmm

  How Cold is it Where You Are?

  here in gettysburg pa last night night we hit a low of -4 degrees but we were blessed with some wind that dropped the wind chill down to -22..
