JW's Offer Me A Plea Bargain.
by Englishman ini havent mentioned this before because, when it happened i was quite rattled.. there was a knock at the door a little while back, and who should be stood there but john dayment, the fella who used to be my dads assistant when he was po of weston super mare, back in the 60s.. he had with him another chappy, i think that his name was rod something, and they both launched into how good it would be to see me make my way back.
apparently they were both elders, and this was my once a year visit.
i was disinclined to be rude because my mum is still in contact with john hey, for all i know he might be my step-father one day!

Funny Shunning....
by Scully inwe were shopping yesterday when i noticed a jw woman from our old congregation in one of the aisles.
normally i would go up and say hello, because i'm neither dfd or dad, but we were in a bit of a hurry, and i didn't want to spend much time in frivolous small talk.
a little background on her: when we knew her she was a pioneer, and could very well still be one; her mother is a pioneer; her twin sister is a pioneer, etc.... you get the idea.

The person that was driving the van was Dan Huber, a good (institutional) JW friend, and one of the very few I CC my DA letter to. It just does not matter, when you are out, the worst is thought of you! Next time, I will try to spew green matter at them, or start rolling around on the ground......heheeeheeeee

Yes, it was very, very weird. As I drove off, he followed me with his WT! In the past, I would just smile or wave. But this time it got to me. What a bunch of freaks.......
However, I do wonder what was said about me to that poor man in the front seat............

I am DA’d. About a month ago, I was filling up my van at a Chevron Station. a van load of Jws out in service pulls up right across from me to get gas. I look over and they are pointing me out to a man in the front seat that I did not know.
I hop in my van and started to move away. I glanced over at the Jws in the van, and the unfamiliar person in the front seat was holding up a WT, arms stretched out towards me like it was a cross and I was a vampire! Very weird feeling came over me.........

Man, I wish I could share Ray’s chapter on Blood with him. That would give him the info he needs. Franz eloquently puts the JW stand on blood right where it belongs, in the trash can.

Israel fires on yet another ambulance
by bboyneko inthe united nations thursday said israeli forces opened fire on a u.n. ambulance en route to a west bank refugee camp, killing a guard for the u.n.'s aid agency for palestinians.
u.n. secretary-general kofi annan called the killing "a graphic reminder of the need for the parties to respect humanitarian law and provide security for all civilians.
" he demanded israel investigate the incident.. if it had been a palestinian ambulance, i'm sure they would have said something along the lines of 'it was being used to ferry hamas members' or some bs like that.

Israel's West Bank commander, General Yitchak Gershom, said the Palestinians were using ambulances to carry "armed terrorists" around refugee camps.
If true, then they are fair game.....

Nothing like both sides of the coin:
On the Israeli side, five teenagers were killed at their high school in the Jewish settlement of Atzmona in the Gaza Strip, in an attack by a Palestinian teen from the Islamic militant Hamas group.
Mohammed Farhat cut through the settlement's wire fence just before midnight. One student was killed in his bed after Farhat threw a grenade into a trailer serving as a dormitory.
Farhat then opened fire on a hall for studies of Jewish religious texts, killing four more teenagers and wounding 20. The hall's tile floor was smeared with blood, and tables and religious books were scattered across the room. Army commanders said Farhat threw six grenades and emptied nine ammunition clips in his 15-minute rampage before being gunned down by Israeli troops.

Apostates, brighter than the average witness?
by sleepy inapostates, brighter than the average witness?.
what do you reckon, are we brainer than people who remain witnesses?.
it may seem proud or boastful , yet i feel there can be little other expliantion.. or course people come across information at different times and in different ways and this will effect what they do with it.. but ultimatly to work out what you have been taught from birth is wrong when you are presented with false and baised information claiming to be true ,propergannda has been forse fed into your brain since a baby, your whole world of family and friends indoctrinated in the same ideas, man ,you've got to have brains.. no when i think of all those people i've left behind in the "truth" i think of people who don't question who like to be told what to do.. people who may have done a little research to justify their faith, but only just enought.. lets consider ourselves a lucky group of people, who have had the ability to look at our lives and what we belive and reject it due to unrefutable evidence.. we have reached an other level of human conciousness.. others have reached it from different routes, but we've been able to cean the mists of human emotion and desire from our minds to see clearly the error of wishful thinking.. how many people who belong to other religions or follow other base less ideas have been able to do so?.
