Greetings! From an Existent JW!

i think this forum's best moments can be attributed to the involvement of actual jw's in doctrinaire discussions and to heated (though not always dialectic) debates.

Jgnat thats a nice analysis. I considered replying in greater detail to the blood thread but I did not think it wise to involve myself in so many discussions concurrently. I dont think it would be beneficial to me or others as I could not focus fully on one subject at a time and would be forced to put on hold many questions and responses.
Im starting a thread on the 'changing doctrine' as I feel it is the most commonplace and to many unsatisfactorily addressed. I appreciate your response.I wouldnt say im admitting to judicial failures, I'm simply acknowledging that if such a disfellowshipping transpired it would be unjust and simply wrong. I related my own case and this did not happen to me. The issue would henceforth be with those individuals on her judicial committee, not the instructions from the WTS. My response is qualified by saying IF it transpired then the disfellowshipping would be wrong, not that it WAS wrong because I do not know all the details.of her judicial case.
Hypothetical speech anyone?

Im sorry if it came across that way mouthy. I'd like to further qualify my statement by emphasizing the part where I said the elders acted incorrectly and unjustly and that you should not have been disfellowshipped for that.

Transfusion and Eating no difference?
by Marvin Shilmer intransfusion and eating no difference?.
today i added a new article to my blog addressing what watchtower says in public view about transfusion versus eating compared to what it admits in private about transfusion and eating.
its short and sweet, and of course documented.

The point is much information has changed and been further researched and assessed about blood in the past 30 years. Marvin is attempting to portray a contradictionary error when there isn't one. Although the WTS has not retracted its stance in this particular deduction of the blood doctrine, quoting from a 30 year old publication and using it as a corroboration of evidence to prove that something is erroneous in the PRESENT, 2012 understanding of blood is fallacious and marginally deceiving.
Blood nourishes the body. Though blood tranfusions are not consumed orally, they still provide nourishment and in a technical sense can be equivocated to "eating" blood. It seems you, the WTS, and medical personnel are all in accord on this. So im not really sure why there's a side to choose or why this article was necessary because there is nothing to rebuttal?

Oh Marvin. I honestly expected something better from you. Number one, you used a reference from a publication nearly THIRTY years old, and secondly the letter stated what is obvious to all JW's. Tranfusion is obviously not the same thing as literally ingesting blood orally. That was never an equivocation made by the WTS (to my knowledge). The equivocation is in the fact that tranfusing blood NOURISHES the body, just as EATING does. I do not understand why you would flaunt an apparent contradiction, you all too well know isnt the case.

TD -Thats interesting. Im glad you have a knowledgeable experience with the blood doctrine. Perhaps I can learn from you. Im currently completing a PA program and have acquired a great deal of hematalogical dynamics. I look forward to discussing this.

Hi jwfacts, your website is quite *interesting* and not a typical approach on the 'truth about the truth'. It's more straight to the point and I like that. In the past six months I observed threads involving Recovery, and the older threads with Thirdwitness and Scholar. I believe Recovery at times had a reasonable objection, but wasn't compotent in arguing his side COHERENTLY and STRONGLY. He was very nit-picky and allowed his insistence on attacking jwfacts to damage his ability to argue reasonably. Hes very simtilar to Thirdwitness, but I think Thirdwitness is worse. He also cant argue cohesively and is worse at arguing his point and his arguments were easily refuted as they were rather bias and elementary. Scholar was by far the worst of the three though.
I would like more of your insight and presentation though JwFacts. You don't strike me as the "debating" type, but many times those who do not have that affinity, turn out to present the best arguments.

In one statement you proclaim the liberty of 'free thought' and 'critical thinking' imposed by higher education; yet later in stark contrast say you refuse to change your mind abiut anything and use stereotypes and a spiteful prejudice to denounce all JWs.
RayPublisher -thanks! :D
Checking out jwfacts and older life stories at the moment. Anxious to start my thread though.
