So ... Russia and Nato at war? Should we be worried?

it seems unbelievable but turkey (a nato member state) shooting down a russian jet fighter on their syrian border seems to be "meh" news and no one is too bothered about it too much.. the world seems a bit upside down right now.

i don't think a lot of countries really know who the hell they are fighting and who is and isn't on their side in it all and really what is going on.. smaller incidents than this have led to major conflicts in the past but hopefully calm heads will prevail.

china shot down a us spy plane years ago and the world survived and forgot about it so things will move on i'm sure.. i'm guessing the price turkey pays for their gas supply from russia will be going up soon though.. man, that republican primary is sucking all the news attention from the room.

Yeah, an interesting situation with The Russian base so close , and a narrow strip of Turkey that can be crossed in a few seconds near by. Reminds me of the Berlin airlift, with hundreds of allied planes in 2 corridors at all times over soviet controlled territory, and nuclear -capable B-29 US bombers sans bombs stationed in England. --

Now, the victim Russia,--An Ace in Putin's hand of cards, ready to play it when and how he wants to, at his terms. but he should remember the Gallipoli lesson.

One benefit of these publicised convictions, court cases, these discussions, even in the local papers is, that it will deter and give pause to active pedophiles to suppress, control their urges, and see the error, and consequences of their ways, particularly on their potential prey.

I can not help but think though, that this particular verdict is a belated attempt by the local authorities to show their commitment to deal with this issues, seeing that Rotherham is just across the park so to speak, with it's infamous child rapes and inaction scandals. .

beth. The anointed generation is a false doctrine per se, because it does not fit the time parameters set by the Jesus discourse when seen as the secondary, final fulfillment. The overlapping part is a total made-up fiction, that would also apply to the natural generation, that since 1914 would run out in 2034 at the latest too.

thank you for at least talking, I am surprised nobody has taken up the fact that The anointed can not possibly be the generation, as wt describes them in their defining illustrations now. of course the bible is not all the truth anyway, It has some truth in it, but it is fabulous stories for children ranked best with the brothers grimm, a grimm fact parishioners, the R&F will not face up to.

1) not the anointed, they are goners before Armageddon, 2) not the faithful wt other sheep. they will never pass away so. 3) it must be the wicked, anointed or not, that all will "not be gone until" all these things, including the final test occurred. but will be finally gone.

will not pass away--until all occurs. but will pass away.

Not being caught out for 3 years means an elder is home free, normally, doesnt it? JWdaughter

If the elder can hide it , the statutes of limitations are 3 years, unless there is 'notoriety', public disclosure, --then history can reach back more than 40 years and justice will be done as happened to that then teenager for his misdeeds.

When the word "destroy" is used by wt, it must refer to Armageddon? just as the "end" prophecy by Jesu was about the destruction of the temple, Jerusalem? so here:

The wt prophecy of the overlapping anointed group says that all anointed will pass away, be raptured before Armageddon. , whereas Jesus said "will not pass away--" before the destruction of Jerusalem, will survive because of fleeing (refugees already then) -- , some lived 30 + years past that passing away . what would we do without the Revelation, written in 100 CE? and:
