Self-Driving vehicles and delivery robots - why?
by FadeToBlack ini saw a 'news' article today about pizza hut (i think) delivering pizzas via a robotic vehicle in nz.
also another article headline saying it is not a question of if, but when.
my immediate thought was, why?

Waves in Gravity detected, another lucky hit?
by prologos ingravity waves sound like a special kind of sound, so is this another lucky hit in the otherwise discredited bible?

kalk: "That was around 2006. Yes, these aluminium cylinders did not yield replicable results, and the more recent good news out of Antarctica turned out to be disappointments too. There are thoughts though, that all happenings in the cosmos are kind of waves, vibrations, of strings even, loosely comparable to what we hear. but:
The Gen 1 quote in the OP speaks of vibrations preceding the events, and the gravity waves detected were merely the result of the merger event.

Memorial mixed emotions...
by Tornintwo indoes anyone else feel 'pulled back in' at this time of year?.
i still consider myself to a believer, believe in god and jesus christ, on the whole i think he taught tolerance, love, acceptance and i think we can benefit from following his example.
i love ray franzs book in search of christian freedom.

No, Understanding now, how untenable the whole subject is, not only the idea that only the anointed partake, but even the need for a ransom, . so, what is left? a symbol in the form of bread and wine of belonging to the brotherhood ? like communion? like privately partaking just in case they could be right? The only satisfaction would be to raise a glass as you wait for the eclipse lineup to give a good light show. -

Here is a gravity/ memorial question. This Memorial day hosts also an eclipse, in this case the earth will be between moon and the sun. At maximum, will minimum gravity arrive before minimum light? is gravity instant, but light(or the lack of it) travel at 300 k km/sec. ? -

zeb: "I saw a bumper sticker. "No such thing as gravity, the earth sucks!", ha ha, but not true, the earth is great. so how about anti gravity? : why do helicopters fly? they are lifted by repulsion, they are so ugly that the earth repels them. -

Ultimate Axiom:
I don't like gravity, it gets me down. so, does the ultimate letdown, into the grave, the word, come from gravity then, or the other way around? a grave subject.
Simon:
gravity is "just a theory"? gravity as such is not theoretical, what is up for future explanations is how Matter creates gravity, what gravity does to what, space, other matter, and how it works, through gravitons?

rory-ks: "--I like the ship in the picture - a container ship, To me, it looks like a bulk carrier, and the cargo, gravel, coal, would shift forward, hastening the fall. Will there be a movement of members that will give wt the sinking feeling?
Ucantnome: "--i think to a photon it probably is ! Profound! at c one loses one dimension. becomes flat in vision.

Ultimate Axiom: "--I don't like gravity, it gets me down. You can not be a skier, snowboarder or sailplane pilot then, because getting you down also gives you the speed forward. gravity has hidden benefits. Could Einstein have imagined surfing a gravity wave?
I see we are spending Saturday morning profitably . next door is yours?
