In Daniel's time, the deity still wrote on stone, bigger though, walls . Only in the early Mormon's period did he consider gold as a fit base for his calligraphy. Made in our image, a slow learner though. not at all like the cosmic creator that apparently gets it right the first time.

String Theory Co-Founder: Sub-Atomic Particles Are Evidence the Universe Was Created
by Tenacious in(cnsnews.com) -- dr. michio kaku [1], a theoretical physicist [2] at the city college of new york (cuny) and co-founder of string field theory [3], says theoretical particles known as “primitive semi-radius tachyons” are physical evidence that the universe was created by a higher intelligence.. after analyzing the behavior of these sub-atomic particles - which can move faster than the speed of light and have the ability to “unstick” space and matter – using technology created in 2005, kaku concluded [4] that the universe is a “matrix” governed by laws and principles that could only have been designed by an intelligent being.. “i have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence.
believe me, everything that we call chance today won’t make sense anymore,” kaku said, according [5] to an article published in the geophilosophical association of anthropological and cultural studies.. “to me it is clear that we exist in a plan which is governed by rules that were created, shaped by a universal intelligence and not by chance.”.
“the final solution resolution could be that god is a mathematician,” kaku, author of the future of the mind: the scientific quest to understand, enhance, and empower the mind [6], said in a 2013 big think video [7]posted on youtube.. “the mind of god, we believe, is cosmic music, the music of strings resonating through 11-dimensional hyperspace.”.

Finkelstein: --"--Just because one doesn't clearly understand how nature operates,--
yeah, one does not understand now, but most likely someone did before, not only understood, but arranged it to be so.; even if that arrangement would be a random process governed by the laws on hand.

In the life and death situations I have been in, one in hospital, going in and out of consciousness during a heart attack, being an approved jw or not never entered my mind. How do jws know what it is like not to have, to be free of a false hope?

Wt does not full time "servants" to work. if you do, turn in the proceeds. but You can own an apartment block and collect rents, or own stock and clip coupons, and keep the money, just do not exhaust yourself with filthy work (like Paul did) we will discourage that by confiscating the gain.

Introduction - Any Believers?
by Believer ini’ve been reading it for a few of years off and on, but have been a little too ... maybe ... timid to join.
i left the watchtower organization almost 20 years ago but never abandoned my faith and belief in god.
i knew the gb/organization didn’t represent god, so when i lost my faith in them, i managed to keep my faith in an all wise benevolent creator.

Believer: "Prologos, it can be confusing when we start labeling ourselves and each other – atheist, deist, theist, etc. I really don’t know which definition fits me.--"
accepting a labeling into a category, can be timesaving, as each belief system has a definition, and a list of personalities that held those convictions; and then,-- rather than at length defining personal beliefs, one can proceed to precise questions like: "-- why as a deist do you believe that the maker is now personally involved in evolving events at all?" --no, because--

welcome believer, I am a theist, believing that the universe did not make itself, but that we as a race, as life, but particularly as persons, are special, but - might not be as important as we believe we are. so: I am not that kind of a believer you might be talking about in the PO.
I stand corrected, thank you cofty, I meant deist, and my mind is slipping, no spirit watching over it.

How to wind up a JW
by slimboyfat intell him that jesus probably didn't get married or it would have mentioned it in the bible, but at the same time we can't be 100% sure he didn't get married because it doesn't specifically say he didn't get married.
stand back watch fireworks.. i thought it was a pretty reasonable thing to say.

How to distract people from the REAL issues... (2016 convention videos)
by stuckinarut2 inhave we noticed how the videos that are being shown at the 2016 convention manipulatively try to misdirect from the real issues?.
the video showing the daughter "leaving the truth" and leaving (kicked out) home has been designed to show that her life falls apart because she "left the truth".. then the video series about the "persecution" paranoia speaks about a brother who is not being saved with them in the basement "because he let fear of man etc" affect him.
then the video all about sergei's life speaks about his old friend who "let information about the truth make him have doubts" and he is no longer "in the truth" with them...and made out like it is worse than murdering and eating a kitten!.

great points. Of what little I watched, listened to, the supposed potential causes for being "not saved" seem trivial, like not appreciating counsel, for example.-- the shallowest, no substance - convention ever, shaping the kind of jw the org likes.

Islam is a religion of peace (2)
by Coded Logic inin behalf of the horrific events of saturday night, i just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that islam is a religion of peace.
it doesn’t matter that the quran explicitly says that homosexuals should be stoned to death (7:84) - it’s still a religion of peace.
and it doesn’t matter that the scriptures say that all gay men should be killed (sunan 1:152) - islam doesn’t in anyway condone violence.. it doesn’t matter that every mainstream imam calls homosexuality a sin "worse the adultery" - it’s not a religion of bigotry.. it doesn’t matter that 61% of muslims in the uk think gay acts should be made illegal - islam has nothing against the gay community.. it doesn’t matter that countries with sharia law actively persecute the lgbt community - islam is all about peace and love.

He justified his action with his religion. Not much different from SS who burned Slavic villages from Czech to Russia down to Serbia because their National Socialist ideology considered Slavs inferior. Kalk.
Glad you brought in the comparison to war, for this one is fought on many fronts too. and war has it's Lidices, Oradours, May Lays and Dresdens. and Orlandos? All targets are perceived to be inferior.
