There were 2 world shaking events that happened within a few km of Brooklyn, dated Oct 29 1929, The wall street crash and Sept 11, 2001 the Trade Center attack. now if Brooklyn had had the foresight, to foretell these events that happened looking out their windows, they could have brought in a secondary lynch pin date.

The 1914 doctrine: How long it will last?
by opusdei1972 inone hundred years have passed and the society still supports this lie, which of course, is the basis of their other lies, like that of the unfaithful and not discreet slave appointed in 1919. however, i wonder, what will happen after 50 years, when the overlapped generation will pass?.
and if you want, what will happen with this religion in 2100?, could it survive with the same lie??

Origin of Life
by cofty inin recent years significant progress has been made in solving the question of how life originated on our planet.. how do you think theists will respond when it finally happens?
as a former christian i know my reaction would have been something like "well that just goes to show that it takes intelligent life to make life", but for two reasons that defense doesn't work.. firstly it would prove that life is not an ethereal force that originates with god.
there is no 'ghost in the machine', no elan vital.

Kepler, Newton, Einstein, described the laws that govern the orbits. The energy for the velocity comes from their "fall" during accretion, contraction, --having a potential that was set up from the energy causing the expansion of the universe, all which did not exist at one time. appeared, were created? but all are natural with a pre-natural origin. The rivers are older than the mountains we have today.

Hopefully the people in that particular truck were too late to get near the disaster to unfold. but, if any of the wt writers, who had that view from their windows thought about their earlier prophecies "Babylon has fallen", there was proof before their eyes, religion and it's warfare is alive and well, or sick. not fallen.

provided that the Laws we have identified in nature, which is moving through time since the big bang, apply into the pre-beginning realm.

sld; "oh--thats good to know. so jesus is now ruling over a new earth. cool.
and witnesses will have the joy to find out all about it, again and again, when they study in their Kingdom halls the book " God's Kingdom Rules!"( 2014) starting soon, when they finish the 'Peter walking on water' saga.

sm110 "-- hey are going to come up with a plan to have something else substitute it.
I read somewhere they played round to find a new spectacular event (which 1914 was) for the start of the generation, like the Gagarin story, or the man in the moon, Armstrong , being higher than satan who is down here.-- desperate .

Ah: "Ah, yes you did mention restarting life.
I believe that any experiment to replicate life would be an attempt to fire it up at the very basic, simple level, like it is thought to have happened in nature, not a restarting, but a new line of fuel and spark. Of course entropy is involved, Life is anti-entropy, it has a high order in it's organism, but creates disorder around it, look at my teenage son's room. life violates the second law of thermodynamics, temporarily. That what it has in common with the original creation event. The early universe had a very low entropy, and so does life, that is why it is ti difficult to do a do it yourself replica? its an creation event?

A ha: "Yeah, the conversation was about organic molecules, not living organisms
was it not about the transition from dead matter to life? and we have not just mud, but organic, ex-life stuff around. Is life then a question of oxygen management? We have re-created the energy conditions near the big bang, how difficult should it be to get near the beginning of the one and only life?

The current timeline of the overlapping generation extends to 2075. This is based upon 2 Fr. Franzes overlapping from 1992 and living to about 100.*** Wt loves 1914, because something actually happened that year, although not what they predicted. But the overlapping anointed doctrine is already dead, because wt says the anointed generation will be in heaven by the end, and The Prophecy says they will survive the end, as the Christians did in 70 CE, Wt predicts the 1914 date will last until 2075, but it is already dead.
***David Splain used Frederik Franz as an example of the first group, he died in 1992, nearly 100 years old. a similar anointed, "serving" for 80+ years after Franz's death would give that memorable centennial: 2075. like 1975, it is unlikely to happen.

A ha: and oxygen reacts with organic compounds and they degrade.
but even slightly degraded complex once-alive compounds would be better than ground rock and water to have life start again? just speculating, there was a one-off energy event that was conducive to get life started.? anyway, the deist view, it all, however fantastic it is, life, consciousness, would not be here if there would not have been a creation event, and with our brains, if possible, it is only time that we could replicate life. but why would we need to, we have learned to manipulate the life we have to suit our needs. or?
