Science the bible and some telling scriptures

if one reads about god creating the earth with any critical thinking you'll notice that he created vegetation and the trees before the sun.

another one that i just read about was the stories about the golden calves.

one story involves the making of a golden calf by aaron and the other is about the golden calves that were set up at bethel and i think dan.

Yeah, when I copied that text out of my green " dinosaur in the Sahara" bible, I stopped briefly, but then for authenticity sakes I put in in, sorry I could not do it for dino too. (I am not making this up). Yesterday I straitened out the public talk speaker on the Bible-science talk he gave about Gen 1:1, : -In the beginning'' Heaven&Erath creation, when generations of stars had to die after the beginning to forge the heavy metals to shape Earth, 10 billion years later, he said: " I know", I said he was wise to put the emphasis on "heaven" rather than the earth. perhaps he is partially awake?

in recent years significant progress has been made in solving the question of how life originated on our planet.. how do you think theists will respond when it finally happens?

as a former christian i know my reaction would have been something like "well that just goes to show that it takes intelligent life to make life", but for two reasons that defense doesn't work.. firstly it would prove that life is not an ethereal force that originates with god.

there is no 'ghost in the machine', no elan vital.

There is something special though about the necessity for an unbroken line all the way back to the first spark. how is this pssed on in living organism? -- through a special code in the 4 letters dna message? in recent years significant progress has been made in solving the question of how life originated on our planet.. how do you think theists will respond when it finally happens?

That of course implies that a force is in the living person, she has to be 'on the grid' so to speak, contingent of approval by the power company, God, paying your bills. There were 2 world shaking events that happened within a few km of Brooklyn, dated Oct 29 1929, The wall street crash and Sept 11, 2001 the Trade Center attack. now if Brooklyn had had the foresight, to foretell these events that happened looking out their windows, they could have brought in a secondary lynch pin date.

Hopefully the people in that particular truck were too late to get near the disaster to unfold. but, if any of the wt writers, who had that view from their windows thought about their earlier prophecies "Babylon has fallen", there was proof before their eyes, religion and it's warfare is alive and well, or sick. not fallen.
