I am adeist. The creator can only be known by observing creation. he does not reveal or violates created laws. All we need is to work with what we have been given. We live in a cathedral. enjoy it.

Question for believers here, Ecclesiastes 1:4 and Psalm 105;5 "Earth remain forever".
by James Mixon inwhat is your understanding on the earth remain forever???
today it's a fact (99,999%) that the earth will be consumed by the sun in the future be it 3 million or 3 billion years.
a topic we have been discussing here on paradise earth in the last two or three days and i notice no believer chimed in.

notsurewheretogo: "They admit that they are not inspired and can get things wrong. So Jehovah has nothing to do with the org.
Why not, god got most the bible wrong, so why not his spirit guiding of his earthly governing body guards now>?

The Great Crowd!
by A Believer innotice the 144000 can be counted and they all come from israel.. 9 after this i saw, and look!
a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues,*+ standing before the throne and before the lamb, dressed in white robes;+ and there were palm branches in their hands.+ .
this great crowd, no man was able to number, and they come from every nation!

The Great crowd comes out of the Great Tribulation, according to wt, it has not started yet, so there is no Great Crowd now,
re future: We are traveling through time into the future, Our future does not exist yet, yet the creator, eternal, has been in the future since an eternity. He does not want to predict the wt future, because the past is bad enough. Chapter 5 Kingdom Rules. 1879 -1935. what a mess.

Of course he is. But since he has turned all responsibilities over to the governing body, The organisation is working as it is. for details see this weeks study in the Kingdom Rules book. !876 to 1935. Chapter 5 I think.

Despite their false predictions aren't the JWs right? Won't the world eventually end & Paradise come?
by deegee inaren't there christian denominations who do not make false end of the world predictions but who nevertheless believe that the world will eventually end and paradise (whether in heaven or on earth) will come?.
it seems the watchtower was just jumping the gun when they made false end of the world predictions but they are nevertheless the right: the world will eventually end and paradise will come..

James Mixon8 hours ago: "--They came up with earth paradise before man realize the earth will nor remain forever
Who are they? wt writers, bible writers? Clearly they had no clue of reality. that is why their predictions (or not) can never be right, but enjoy the goodness of the good ones.

Why Finding the One True Religion is Impossible
by Simon injws like to think they have found the one true religion.
but like so many other religious people, it's usually the religion they were born into, the only religion they know because it's the first one they found or, at the most, one of two or three (typically the second one after they left their first / born-in faith).. the trouble is, there simply isn't enough time to explore and investigate each and everyone of the many thousands of belief systems, religions and sects around the world.. think of it this way: which is the best neighbourhood to live in where you would be most happy and most successful?
not just in the city or even the country you are in, but the entire world.. how would you ever know?
-

Impossible, because the creator (unless the universe created itself) did not mandate to be worshipped. Even in the flawed bible account, religion was a human invention, sacrifice was not asked by the spirit "walking in the breezy afternoon in the garden". Abel's fatty carrion burns better than Cain's vegetables, it was was not a sign from heaven, pointing to the true religion, but physics, chemistry, used again in Treblinka. Shoa. Very sorry to use that analogy, with tears. All this burning in religiosity, faith based.

Stillin: "--Finding the perfect neighborhood to live in is made much easier by consulting a real estate agent'
How about the truth? we found the perfect neighbourhood, walk to school, live on a park, overlooking the ocean, snowcapped mountains in the distance, palm trees in the yard, at the right time, as a bargain, -- and ended up in the most awful prejudiced congregation, even some neighbours possibly, so besides real estate, if you want find disciples of the elusive "Christ" check the local's prejudices, before you prove, at your cost, that this is not the true religion/region you are moving into.

wt on a slide, " 1914's generation is not only overlapping, but also composite.
by prologos indoctrines projected by wt writers can be compared to the slides in the old carousel slide shows, the jw audience was kept in the dark, but the next images' bright filtered new light had their rapt attention.
often these doctrine images came around again but modified, often totally changed, turned upside down.
think superior authorities, resurrection ----, .

James Mixon: "They came up with earth paradise before man realize the earth will nor remain forever.
Yeah, since the wt god inspired the bible and he spirit directed: " The Earth shall remain forever" , and he had to learn that from Einstein : e=mc^2,
The wt god is no Einstein to have not proofread that eternal planet passage.
