Yes, for good reason appellation Father is dominant in the NT over Jehovah
by QC inthe purpose of the christian era is to moves descendent of adam into the family of jesus, the "last adam eternal father.
" 1co 15:45; isa 9:6 so, the christian order is familial, it is about jesus' family pleasing the father.. .
this is why jesus is the center piece of the nt greek text.

QC great bottom line. really, ALL CHRISTIANS ARE THE "ISRAEL OF GOD" THE TWELVE SPIRITUAL TRIBES OF REV 7 (MINUS DAN &EPHRAIM) The little flock was the small nr. of disciples in Jesus' day, who at the time still had an earthly hope. The "other sheep" are the gentiles that were not of the FOLD of old ISRAEL.
The 144 000 come OUT OF the 12 tribes of the Isael of God. only the angels and up know their identities.( neither the vatican court nor our partaker headcount lifts that veil. JESUS SERVED THE BREAD AND WINE TO THE 11 THAT HAD AN EARTHLY HOPE. SO ALL CHRISTIANS MUST PARTAKE IN ORDER TO HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE AND BE RESURRECTED ON THE LAST DAY. JOHN chapter 6. please see http//www.beabeorean.com blessings to all.

Do we have the right to criticize Jehovah's anointed ones?
by Christ Alone injehovah's witness.
no one must ever compromise any of the essential, life-saving truths from god, but to truly be part of the "one body" required of christians, everyone must compromise some personal beliefs, preferences, interpretations, etc.. the jewish christians in rome were commanded to give up the mosaic law.
this was a task that was most difficult for them.

Sizemik: what is the purpose of criticizing "Gods anointed", do we not like to see a better outcome for us? some of the language used is too negative, even is counter to rule 3 of posting guidelines. I meant repect and support only to the extend that the widow and Paul showed to the moribund religious order of their day. Consider them the (religious) superior authorities that Jehvah obviously allows. every tearing down must be also followed by a better building up. I think many here are wrestling with the really big issues. and some serious thinking is shown among the myrth. beabeoren.com
truthseeker: we have moved on and out of bridgeland with G,C,C etal. my family has stories to tell too. but will that alone bring anyone closer to God, to understanding, a fuller life? blessings!

Interesting quotes from the Feb 15th Watchtower (it's not a cult at all, honest!)...
by cedars inwell it's the 15th today, so i thought i'd check to see whether the feb 15th watchtower has been uploaded yet... and sure enough it has.. here is the link to the pdf.... http://download.jw.org/files/media_magazines/5a/w_e_20130215.pdf.
i've breezed through it and noticed that it is littered with odd stuff that would scream "cult!
" to an outsider, but which your average indoctrinated jw will just lap up as always.. here is my pick of the quotes.... the first article, entitled "this is our spiritual heritage" gives a very flattering whistle-stop tour of the history of god's organization - from abraham to tynedale to rutherford (bypassing russell altogether) before explaining that nothing will ever thwart jehovah's purposes.

For those with claustophobia, the valley is a bad picture. but it fits. you are stuck low, its an effort to get out of it, against gravity for us octogenarians. a trap. I prefered going UP to Zion, give me alttude and freedom. The mounting up like eagles Isaiah 40: 13, being lifted by God's spirit with oustrechted wings. up up and away. What is the difference between being in a rut and being in a valley? the valley is deeper. blessings

Do you call your father by his legal name? Should we for God?
by trujw injw's make much of calling god jehovah as if somehow this makes them better than us.
do we call our mother's by their legal name?
if you do or do not does that make the other less a son or daughter of god?.

2 Chronicles 18: 9-ii : even false prophets used the name of jehovah, even produced bible dramas then. so God's name might have an aura, but no magic shield or halo to impart truth, protection or status. blessings

christ alone: remember all christians are anointed (thats what the name/title means) you must be referring to one up higher in the hierarchy. Two scriptural incidence shed light on this. Gal. 2:11: here paul severely and PUBLICLY repremands a member of the "governing body" Peter, the eywitness to our Lords life. Even as we know now that peter was not part of the Faithful and Discreet Slave (note). it shows we MUST publicly correct, expose wrong , of those at the apex of power to minimize the damage they can cause. However it has to be done with respect. Acts23:4-5 shows Pauls' recommended attitude to those in Power. Note that at that time the Jewish, priestly system of worshipping Jehovah was already invalid by the new covenant validated at the last supper, the high priest not mediating with God. Conlusion: even when a system is condemed, it deserves respect, Jesus di not even verbally abuse the demons. It is also not a sin to contribute to an organisation that because of its failing is doomed. Think of the devoted widow giving to the temple, that at the same time jesus referred to "---the house has been abandoned (by God) to you--", "not a stone will be left--". So it is no contrdiction to support an endeavor that need help by constructive criticism because of inherent flaws.
The answer is: yes we do, but with respect and support. beabeorean,cm blessings

of course its good to see new life come into the world, even if it ultimately has to end. but doing the math: 80 000 000: 250 000 =375. thats a better ratio then 1:1000, the jw to World pop ratio.so they are gaining. with the overlapping generation(s) going to 2078 and beyond somewhere in the future, there should be a break- even point. THE OTHER MATH: EVERY ONE OF THE 7 BILLION gets 10 minutes "reported witnessing time". deaf ears or steaming starbucks coffee? 2 peter 3:9 mainly adresses christians. judgement starts with the house of god. from the top down. beabeorean.com blessings.

The Governing Body Myth
by DATA-DOG inwhatever your feelings about god or the bible, you may agree that thier manner of communication is very nice.
when the matter could not be resolved, paul and barnabas took the issue back to the congregation of the brothers who originated the problem - the jerusalem congregation.
we learn from this account, not that the jerusalem congregation served as a headquarters or governing body that handed down instruction and guidance for the other congregations.

One of the current memebers of the GB and his wife lived in our place for some weeks some time back. a deeply spiritual man, gracious sister. I had the impression (not expressed) that he would loved to have started his tenure at the GB doctrinally from scratch. Think of it, these brothers have inhereted a very difficult menue of past spiritual food. Every word of the valid criticism we read on these pages might well be true, and the GB is stuck with it. WT writers normally have to check new manuscript against existing old "new" light; so it is perpetuating the past saga. Like the chinese lesdership they seem to opt for stability. The present unstable stack of linked doctrines is not their creation, and one honest major revision like the dicarding of the "unanointed Christian OS non partaker idea" would disprove the rest of the dogma and stumble many. So these brothers need all the help they can get. Fortunate for us is the fact that our salvation is not dependent on their good offices but is assured by God's own provision for salvation in Christ.

What happened in the Christian Congregation immediately following the destruction of Jerusalem?
by itsibitsybrainbutbigenoughtosmellarat inwhat exactly happened in the christian congregation immediately following the destruction of jerusalem?
what were the central issues being dealt with at the time?
was there a crises akin to what happened to jws when they weren't all raptured in 1914?.

Revelation chapyer 2 gives a picture, although its set in the "lords day" yet the 7 congrgations are local and the overseers "stars?" answering directly to Christ. No governing body in sight. 7 autonomous congregations. But Christ approving and disapproving individuals in the congrgations. warning that he would have to intervene himself to straighten things out. free will and initiative at work but with consequences. see beabeorean.com
