most witnesses, particularly teenagers will go out of their way (pun intended) to do door 2 door as far away from home as possible, but keep some "calls" close by to start their time count. follow the leaders example.

Does the current Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses go out in field service in Brooklyn ?
by Balaamsass inin the past, 20 years ago governing body members did go in field service and participate in field service with rank & file members.
however it appears that perhaps the "slowdown" in service activity might be traced to headquarters.
the "read the bible sign" is going the way of the dinosaurs..with the move to "the compound" upstate perhaps "advertise, advertise, advertise" has been replaced with "hide, hide, hide"...the king and his kingdom.

hillary and Jwfacts. of course all believers should partake. But at the WT-reanactment? it would be dishonest to do so if you listened to the incomprehensible talk, where suddenly the New CovenanT turns into the Kingdom covenant.
If WT BtS talked about letting everyone to partake, it would be a major doctrinal change that collapses all the other stuff with it. Most or many believers bake their own wafers and pop their own kork in a private ceremony deeper into the night.
This idea of withholding the emblems is openly depriving the R&F of everlasting life (ha ha if it dependet on them) and if that is possible, if the bible is a fable.
Its about power- memorial-based two tiers, and money, that is why they want the money now- because the doctrinal power is slipping.

Some advice please?

she's been very pleasant with me and very patient with me.
she hasn't been very pushy which i appreciate.. she's even said that if at anytime i'm getting smothered or feel this religion isn't my thing, to say so and she will stop asking about it.

take dazed but not confused's advice and let her experience the full force of a DF procedure. that will open her eyes. debating doctrines wont do, its all about feeling and you have her feeling the right way! then again, she might be trying to get her hours of FS up in the most pleasent way.

may be some of you computer nerds can post a picture of the page 4 BEACH photo in the March 2013 AWAKE? there is a good surfing wave coming and wasted in the background, and again everyone is covered up. These are not regular beach goers. they have no tan. clearly more than 4 hour per month persons. Where is this taken? good beginners surfing spot.

How come we dont see the other Santa Claus* on the north pole too? NORAD tracked him from there! Obviously jehovah has isolated himself by a hefty layer from the going-ons below. Most participants are sitting down. pity the ones in the front lines, the rooks, drill sargents, foot soldiers. the ones on their feet COs, elders forced to hold up the WT BtS. they bear the brunt now and will not be able to hide later.
