  That is an impressive Range to come up to in a drive from the east, a worthwhile diversion through route 14, 14A to go to Yellowstone rather than follow the Interstate. The Bighorns, like a huge gravel heap, bank. Now even scarier to drive, knowing this can happen. again.

  WT Mtg "read scriptures" are only to be read by a 1 brother???

  we had co visit recently & it appears that the co told the elders of the congregation that the scriptures indicated on the wt to be "read" on the watchtower study are only to be read by 1 brother in the entire study.... the elder conducting the watchtower announced that at the wt mtg... i was like what???

  only men?....

  has anyone else had this occur in their congregation?

  I , an old geezer, find the the practise of having different people read very distracting, degrading to the comprehension of the material, how can you analyse and tear it apart, if the thing is not clear. The worst is the new practise of the wt "study" at Circuit Assembly Days, where a succession of participants take turns on the stage on 3 mikes toeing their marks on the floor, to say their bit, each question a different voice, cadence, volume setting, --confounding, compounding the confusion.

  a year to a year and a half ago, i would have taken this article at face value and believed it.. now, i realize this article comes from a dubious source.

  world news daily has a die-hard right-wing bias.

  so, in an effort to get real information, i'm asking my european exjw's, is this article all true?

  Ps -sorry for the slight diversion from the topic at hand. As you were-- not-- imho. My main point was about refugees being prayed on by locals, Pedophiles and Child murderers. crime increases in these overwhelmed areas happens sharply. not because of newcomers only.

  November WT God's View Of War

  did anybody else read this article and just think wth?.

  sometimes god approves of war.. sometimes god doesn't approve of war.. when the israelites fought battles and won it was because god blessed them.. when they lost it was because god had not blessed them.. sometimes god fights for oppressed ones.. sometimes they must wait and have faith.. it is so clear that the bible contradicts itself on this issue and that the nation of israel had a totally different view of god than the early christians.

  it is also clear that the nation of israel was highly superstitious and would attribute every battle's outcome to the whims of a higher power.

  who is going to tell them? Jws will, and forever. turning in monthly reports of time spent.

  perhaps David can practise his prowess with the sword on the sinners that "will die a hundred years old, yet fresh like a boy", and these resurrected and then impotent resurrected males will try hormone treatment to rise to the occasion again? but they will learn war no more, just keeping old skills.

  -- increase the surveillance that is encroaching on our lives.Only criminals have to fear surveillance. The abduction of a refugee child was caught on camera, and the boy disappeared. The mother of the abductor turned him in. Two child abuses and murders were solved that way, and more prevented. Crime around some Refugee centers is up 300% and it is not all and always the newcomers. bring on the cameras.
