"Obey" or "Be persuaded" at Hebrews 13.17
by Wonderment invarious posters have apparently concluded that the wt society is wrong by quoting hebrews 13.17 as a reason for christians to submit to, and be "obedient" to those taking the lead among them.
they have pointed out that the greek word for obedience is "hypakouo" or some other, not "pei'tho" which is the one that appears in the beginning of verse 17 at hebrews ch.
their motive for their objections may be one of rancor brought about by the extreme authoritative measures the society have imposed on the brotherhood.

heart troubles

my health took a beating over the years with stress from various sources, not a little from the wt; and dangerous areas of work involving fumes and so on.
the arc also took its toll and i have had recently a heart attack.

Revelation - it's grand climax is at hand
by Listener insome people point out the subliminal pictures in the wtbts publications but sometimes things are just so obvious, such as the title of the book above.. the person who came up with the title for this book must have had a good old laugh.. interestingly, this book first came out in 1988 and has not been included in the online library but nothing has replaced it.
the org is really going backwards when they ditch old light and cannot come up with anything new.
they are real wankers ;)..

How can a "body" lead? if it has no head? a 7 headed Hydra?, The Knorr/Franz combination was a good one,
Knorr leading in procedure and Franz in "spirituality" aka nutty doctrines.
I would be interesting to see a true man, like Trueman from MO raise to the occasion, just for fun, but whoever really rules seems to find the G.O.D of 7 +- effective.

My Explanation of God.
by LAWHFol ini am a theist & this is my version of god.. instead of using the term god, i'll use "unseen presence".. this unseen presence, is perfect in every way.
this presence is so perfect it can seem a bit boring.this perfection can be seen in the laws of science, for example gravity.. it does not sometimes work, depending on the mood of some one in the sky, it always works, perfectly.
gravity does not get angry and decide to stop working, and cause the death of innumerable living beings, it just works, through thick or thin, it is reliable.. what allows this unseen presence to remain perfect, is the fact that it does not act based on emotion, or strategy or regret.. it acts based on law, mathematical law.. this unseen presence is not partial to jews or muslims or jw's it is completely impartial at all times, to everything that exists.

imho: all we can know about the unseen is the record left behind, the works, but everyone's vision is unique, like a rainbow, that not really exists, but is a refracting back of sunlight, and everyone's rainbow is different. There are billions of different visions about the works, the universe, and most of it we can not see, it is beyond the horizon, outside our personal time cone. So be content with the travel through time you have, fully. If a creator wanted more for - or from you, he would tell you. -

would favour some gametes to evolve ever smaller sizes at greater numbers, because these can fertilize gametes better. LUHE
Is there not a news items about rats bigger game-tes than elephants ? and Evolution is favored by sexual reproduction, more mix mutation possible 2 possible areas, long term ova and short term sperm, more mix to fill more niches, fun too, and better then cloning, the ultimate incest.

That which propelled the Big Bang, and that which proceeds the eventual collapse of the Universe. current understanding is, that this universe is not collapsing but expanding at an accelerating pace due to the additional dark energy in the vacuum, that is the property of the "nothing" which preceded the big bang beginning.
whether a personality is behind the use of energy and directing the formulation of the laws we have here? does it matter? let us enjoy the works we have to use here. and it is not amiss to say "thank you"

We were shown how to google jw-org last night
by StarTrekAngel inso last night i went to the meeting with my family.
had not gone in 2 weeks.
as usual i sat down reading the bible.

the last part of the meeting talked about using audio files from the website in ministry or even at home. Elder who prepared the part dedicated 10 ---" ; STA
dedicated 10 minutes to show how to fumble with the pad he had in his hand. In the audience were a healthy minority of 9-40 year olds that could have shown how it is really done with aplomb and grace. So it was boring for half and hilarious for the other. On second thought, possibly the part was assigned by the uebers to keep this ambitious man down.

last night's meeting finished the imitation faith of No ah. questioning experts: How many species or kinds would be surviving with only one male and one female left in the wild, with predation now suddenly rampant ? Even Noah's family trying to hunt down the 5 clean ones to sacrifice and eat? thimk!
