  the samuel herd broadcasting about the layoff of fulltime wts employees, made me think about the gunter schabowski press conference in november 1989.. the correlations:.

  - samuel and gunter read their message from paper.

  The communists asked sacrifices "now" for a better worker's paradise later, with harsh quotas , austerity imposed, with that proletariat paradise delayed, people started voting with their feet, the walls were build, and the gunter's misunderstood command opened the floodgate(s). Are there millions or a large percentage of jws ready to bolt, because they are tired waiting for the wt paradise ? do they even know they are behind a controlling wall, with their family held hostage, a better world out there? a paradise hope fading past 2075 into the future? what single pronouncement, misinterpreted would cause a stampede to leave the wt world?

  Why didn't Jehovah know the flood wouldn't work?

  this has been something that is bugging me lately-.

  jehovah is all knowing.

  he knows that to do away with evil, he has to do away with satan.

  kill satan while he was at it. That would spoil the fun, The Devil is the stalking horse that raises the victims he can take water/fire pot shots at. using cluster bombs.

  Obviously he deals with one irritant at a time, inter-creation sex? what is scary is the intended co-lateral damage, even Everest was flooded to make sure all animals died. Next time he promises to use fire. and asbestos has been found to cause cancer. The only way out is the KH.

  so on last saturday, one of my good child hood friends (i consider her like a real sister) who is da posted on facebook that she was going to be having a birthday party for her son.

  well another person we grew up with immediately posted a comment about how she should know better then to celebrate bdays and referenced 2 peter 2:20-22 (about being like a dog turning to its own vomit).

  i countered with with luke 11:37-49 and didn't hear back.

  good comments and suggestions, but why would god hate birthdays??? because he is a jealous god, and his special day comes only every 365 000 years. and blowing out an indefinite no of candles for eternity really sucks, and blows.

  Funny grammar error in German Watchtower

  they seem to have laid off their proofreaders.

  in the new 03/2016 study watchtower there is a picture description:a mature young person does not act like a friend of god at the kingdom hall but a friend of the world at school.

  the german issue saysein reifer junger mensch verhalt sich im konigreichssaal nicht wie ein freund jehovas und in der schule wie ein freund der welt.

  My mother tongue is French , TheFadingAlbatros, and it shows, you version came in at 27 words, mais precise, versus 23* for prologos. and 22 for the processor versions,

  I still think Prologos' version has merit, for it puts the positive where it is intended (the Hall), and the negative where it belongs, (the school) in wt 's eyes. :---does nicht act as a friend of the world in school.--" nyet.

  prologos, take that for shameless self promotion: Eigenlob stinkt, Freundenlob hinkt, Fremdenlob singt.

  * the extra word was "junger", so Prologos is 22 too, la racine de la langue de Moliere would add 5 more.

  added: a stronger expression still would have been to use "niemals" instead of "nicht"

  Jehovah's Witnesses were gassed at Auschwitz., The Guardian. it might have happened, but not because they were devotees, rather such individuals, were caught up as members of another group. I can think of one lady from my youth, who could have been a witness, married to a jew, and who refused to divorce him according to the demands of the Nazi race laws, both had to wear the yellow Star of David in the 1930s and were gone by 1945. gone.

  About this story of 90, mostly --46 boys, 44 girls baptized, family, or an "organized" wave could have be factor, we will not have heard the last of it. The sources have never lied to me.

  I'd rather not be specific, but the info is authentic, first hand, by contrast in our summer assembly of the same size there were only ~ 9 -- 10% candidates, at 1 day only one, before even none.

  I see the youth with their screen addiction falling prey to these irrational messages removed from reality, A report from germany lately was that the youth is losing*** touch with natural reality, they see the electronics as the field of life.
