The good news: if this was the solar system, The occulting feature would be looking like a body the apparent size of the moon but in Mars orbit, and ----if it is aliens using that size mirror to beam KIC 8 energy for propulsion to their space ships, they are not coming our way, we are in the shadow of their structure.

David Splane was always full of Ideas, and he might not be an exception to that personality trait, doing their private reading they will have all kinds of "Aha" moments and even indulge in using it in talks (David did before he became knighted) but making any of these brainwaves official, is serious stuff, for little mistakes have a way to become big problems with time. example: During David's watch they switched from the wicked generation to the anointed generation, but they did not follow the analysis he mentioned. They teach now that the generation will pass away, the bible says it will not pass away. If the bible would be absolute truth, foolproof doctrine could be devised, but since it is demonstrably not, what do you have left from foolproof if you take the proof away?

May be the solution could be in case somebody confesses to have them resign as jws, and let him or her go to the police. , but then if they de facto plead guilty, are they not sure to be sentenced at mandatory rates? and since the list that wt is supposed to have, might be based to a large extend on such confessions, and perhaps even unproven allegations, where would that lead, if wt, the courts published it?

The dimming over long periods is now questioned, but it dims (at last viewing) ~ every 2 years, and stays dim for one day. so, how would that work out here with our sun ? very roughly mars has a two year year , and a little further out a shield for the sun would travel at 20 km second. A day at that clip would transit the disk of the sun, seen from far away, in less than a day, ~the length of the dimming of KIC 8--. That dimming feature would look, if in our solar system, 1/2 times bigger than the Sun,or (Moon) when seen together. Or it could be 2 features orbiting at Saturn's distance and appear 1/5 the size of the Sun (or Moon). So these occultations every two years are not something so outlandish that it could not be visualised here, If only we can have them light enough, but opaque. From a stellar distance the occulting features would look of equal size of course. so, it is not that alien after all, if the shade could be a disk like Saturn's, it would have to be only 5 km thick.

There is new information, even about the observations online. Occam's razor would suggest a shorter path, via natural laws, rather the billions of years developpement via life, and then with really advanced, powerful civilization technology, massive energy capture. Fundamentalist of course deny "god" did anything within 6000 light years distance, he is resting, so it must be aliens.

Another trinity thing
by Mozzie ini have gone through the ones on here, i have read so much about it and everyone seems to have a different idea as to what the creed actually came up with in the sense of explaining it, religious leaders from most denominations seem to try to explain it and are all different, it does your head in just trying to read half their stuff.
when i was going door to door, i knew how to argue against it, but now trying to learn about it.. i was reading an article of the net about this and how christ emptied himself of all deity and that, but with all the statements made and arguments to and for it, one question was brought up.
when jesus was asked by his disciples about the time of the end, jesus replied neither i nor the angels know the hour, only the father.
