  Science the bible and some telling scriptures

  if one reads about god creating the earth with any critical thinking you'll notice that he created vegetation and the trees before the sun.

  another one that i just read about was the stories about the golden calves.

  one story involves the making of a golden calf by aaron and the other is about the golden calves that were set up at bethel and i think dan.

  For what I see, they do not worry about the end at all, full bore life and enjoy the wt club, except the really old ones. they worry about the future, because if wt writers were wrong about the dates, how likely is it they are wrong about the resurrection too? .

  If D.S. said that, (can't listen unless someone puts it up here), then they are hedging their bets, If all the brothers were ~ the ~same age, of course benjamin was the youngest, then WT wants to be saying it's near it's now! when they invoke the old and faithful like Br, Franz, who died in 1992 at ~ 100, and his likeness now, it will take us to 2075, in that case they are playing the long card, don't blame us, we told you so.

  the missing song 151 now titled "the revealing of god's sons" shows up with the september edition of tv.jw.

  no words or score on the jw page yet.

  can't say that it sounds any different than any of the other songs they produce now.

  WT writers have vacillated over the question of combat by immortal resurrected christians, based on the text "--god will crush satan under your feet shortly --"Rom 16:20, or whether they would instead direct the initial building of the paradise as survivors of Armageddon. What is new that their charts now predict the early rapture of the overlapping anointed generation at the onset of the great Tribulation, long before the end, contradicting Jesus' word, that the generation would " not pass away until all theses things", including the end occur.

  Jesus words supported the idea that the anointed would survive, not pass away, to start pardise. after all, it is the 144 00 sons of god that are the primary inheritors of the earth too. according to wt.

  Jehovah's Witnesses - a religion of displaced people?

  i've had a theory for a long time that jws historically have appealed to people who have been displaced or find themselves in a new environment away from family and friends.

  i also read an article recently that suggested that internal migration in italy was a big boost for jw growth.

  more generally it has long been theorised that new religious movements are a phenomenon particularly associated with disruptive features of modernity, including the hyper-mobility of people in the modern age.

  WT "Study" for 4th September 2016 - “Seek the Kingdom, Not Things”

  i’m sitting there in the kingdom hall just thinking how rich it is of the gbojw to preach about materialism when they have recently been evidenced to be using bro’s & sis’ contributions to the world wide work to travel business class!

  just that thought alone was leading me to read scripture while they were all engaged in the wt “study”.. however, then it came to paragraph 17 and i blurted / choked a little.

  the paragraph said that “we should not imitate the people of ‘the nations,’ who have no real faith in a loving heavenly father who cares for those who put the interests of his kingdom first in their life.”.

  The end is coming, you can anticipate it for you, by looking at your families age of death, and see how many years you have left. Wt has been wrong on all predictions about the future, why would it be different this time? If you will not be comfortable when you can not work any more, give it a big spurt of earning so that you are. You deserve your golden years to be golden, not wt's, or their glorious ones'. you have slaved enough.

  it would be easier to talk to one of the wives, at an assembly where she is not known, and were just meandering in the crowd. A conversation with a GB member would be short, if you steered into a delicate subject, very short.

  Has anyone thought about if a General strike take place by undocumented immigrants.

  Social Security number, 2014 541000 SSN were issued to illegal emigrants. driver licenses--

  all kinds of foreigners, landowners can get these Numbers, social security numbers but stamped. not for work. and yes you could get a driver license if you had a residence, phone bill to show, at least it limits the liability issues with properly ensured vehicles. The government should have enforced existing federal law. created a more comprehensive temporary worker program. big crunches are coming, strikes or not.
