Is there Scriptural Evidence to a Resurrection during the 1,000 year Reign?

this question was addressed on the jw advisor blog (a defending watchtower website), july 24,2016 .

the answer is interesting because it is more in accord with what the bible fortells but it is not in accord with what the watchtower is currently teaching and has been for decades.

it has been suggested on this forum that the site has been sanctioned by the watchtower or written by writers at hq.this is the current view of the watchtower and is under 'bible teachings' on jw org.

in wt dogma, the "coming to life" refers to the earthly class' receiving perfect life after a full 1000 years of ransom treatment. To this end wt writers have in their publications often used the phrasing : "at the end of the thousand years" rather than the correct "after the thousand years have ended--" wt knows the problem, and tries to hide , obscure it.

The real issue is of course not the commas in the book of revelation, but the speech capabilities of the snakes in the beginning.

There is no evidence of any resurrection, past, present or future. show it.

New Religion where to look?

has anyone found any religion that makes more sense than the watchtower organization?

obviously catholics make even less sense than them so don't say that.... the reason i ask is because i still believe the bible is the word of god, but just that the jw's have twisted it for their own benefit, as most religions seem to do....

The trouble is, these mistaken ideas are published as "new light", as official current doctrine, and questioning these mistakes becomes a disfellowshipping, off with you to gehenna offence. and for the wt rank & file, these ideas [like "that it would be reasonable for the beginning of the paradise millennium to coincide with the 1975 end of the 6000 years , since A&E's creation, then rest], -- all this comes supposedly from the GB, F&DS, and obedience, and on propagating these mistaken ideas their "eternal" life depends.

The deeper intention behind this composition in the "k" book is, to imply, that there is real solid "truth" about 1914, that the witnesses just did not discover it in time. of course, the whole thing starting with the talking snake is a fabrication, and discussing all these possibilities is WT's way of mind control.

The creator of the mighty universe would have never let his reps mentally flounder about the event that exceeds in importance even the big bang creation , namely the beginning of the eternal rule of all he created.

Since I joined the jw religion in part because of their anti-war participation record, and having lived near the most dangerous places during ww2, I deeply feel for all the war dead The saddest part is, that each soldier that died in all these conflicts might have taken a civilian with him, into an untimely, often horrible, and in the non-combatant's case, a non-consensual death.

Suspicious Attitude Toward Married Brothers...

this is kind of different but i just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

it seems that younger married brothers are viewed with a certain level of suspicion in the congregation.

it's like the elders can be friendly with everyone in the hall including younger sisters.

For jws, the meetings, from District [region} to field service arrangement, are the great places to mingle, whether you are married or single. really, wtf!.

the polls were wrong and although it's tempting to blame voter suppression and fbi interference, that would just avoid looking at the real issues for the loss.

Millionaire JW Elder hypocrite?!

so i know one should remove his own stick from his own eye before ones self judges another, but i noticed something.

it seems that the wealthy witnesses are the elders, the circuit overseers, the governing body... are they really different from any other 'worldly' religions or even organizations?

i mean look at the jewels the friggen pope wears.

of course wt has not condemned wealth, how could they, wealth is central to their position, and their strength, but they have emasculated their workers, robbed them of the opportunity to get a grip on reasonable advancement by stealing the best years of their lives. Wealthy elders? naturally, done everything right to be wealthy, good managers, useful in any organisation like the wt. The real treason comes in, when such individuals go on the platform and take their " be a watchtower slave, pioneer during high school, right after high school, and while you raise your kids--" part, because look at me, I am sometimes on the pioneer list, and I am on the platform, and you are not.
