This is not a survivor scene, where are the billions of rotten corpes, and note not many trump voters among the survivors either.

that was just the daily text yesterday, sunday Nov.13. It starts out alright, wine= new covenant= poured out for many [not few], for forgiveness of sins, [needed by all], and wine served to the 11/12 apostles that were not anointed [yet]. but then twists down to applying Math.26:28 only to the [not yet anointed], in the other, the kingdom covenant. and:

not to forget John 6, where Jesus said: unless you eat and drink you will not--- have everlasting life. Everlasting life= life in restored earthly paradise, whereas anointed 144000 = immortality in heaven.

good picture, it is downhill all the way.

Watchtower's "New Light" re Babylonish Captivity, November 2016 WT

has anyone noticed the wt's most recent shell-game revisionism in the november study tractazine, relating to the shifting of its "babylonish captivity" doctrine, from a 3 1/2-year period around the ww 1 years, to a period now spanning about 16 centuries, or from the 4th century (constantine's legal recognition of christianity) to 1919?.

perhaps the wt thinking is: we have to justify the no Governing Body, no F&DS, no "true christians" to speak of for nearly 2 millennia? How can you have rule in jerusalem if you are in exile (spiritually speaking) so:, see:--it all had to wait, restored kingdom, restored governing Body, new Faithful & d-slave, all now, 1914-1919

Is there Scriptural Evidence to a Resurrection during the 1,000 year Reign?

this question was addressed on the jw advisor blog (a defending watchtower website), july 24,2016 .

the answer is interesting because it is more in accord with what the bible fortells but it is not in accord with what the watchtower is currently teaching and has been for decades.

it has been suggested on this forum that the site has been sanctioned by the watchtower or written by writers at hq.this is the current view of the watchtower and is under 'bible teachings' on jw org.

Wt believers, and detractors just have to worry about the fleshly resurrection, pity the catholics, they believe that too, but in addition in the immortality of the soul, and it's stages. best to have left Catholicism first, wt second.

How to argue with a JW who says the org never said the end in 75

i have argued with several jws who are now being trained to deny the org ever said the end in 75, what is your approach?.

Millionaire Elder JW umm...wtf?!

so i know one should remove his own stick from his own eye before ones self judges another, but i noticed something.

it seems that the wealthy witnesses are the elders, the circuit overseers, the governing body... are they really different from any other 'worldly' religions or even organizations?

i mean look at the jewels the friggen pope wears.

Elders , MS' are supposed be "not lovers of money" , so, the many millionaires among them must be really miserable, stuck with all that hateful loot they schemed and worked so hard for, worse, no relief in sight.

It would have been their christian duty, as the appointed F&DS, to stop the brothers from selling their houses, from leaving their businesses, and after a warning to disfellowshipping them for apostasy. or?

The moon

yes take a look at the moon after 1930h 14th nov. it is the closest the moon is to earth in many years.

wont be this close for many years more.. use any telescope or binoculars.. wowee..

after 930 am August 21, 2017 the moon will be as large as the sun, and covering it. anybody here living along the path, Oregon to South Carolina planning to open their door, land for wt weary viewers?

Election Post-Mortem

i'm sure many people, republicans included, are shocked at the results of the 2016 presidential election.

really, wtf!.

the polls were wrong and although it's tempting to blame voter suppression and fbi interference, that would just avoid looking at the real issues for the loss.

He was in the eyes of many voters a law and order candidate, Among his voters were perhaps more of law and order persons. May be with age he will even learn to bring law and order into his male hormones.

New Religion where to look?

has anyone found any religion that makes more sense than the watchtower organization?

obviously catholics make even less sense than them so don't say that.... the reason i ask is because i still believe the bible is the word of god, but just that the jw's have twisted it for their own benefit, as most religions seem to do....

Alpd, since you still believe in the bible, start at the beginning: did god asked for a religion? no, Kain and Abel started two. so, it is an unwarranted human invention. Then start checking out what really happened, Gen 1:1.-- was the Earth really made in the beginning? or 10 000 000 000 years later ? Such glaring error indicates bad book keeping, if not total ignorance of science. and the bible is just a book. so: make sure of all things, hang on to what is fine.
