Help! My "devout" JW's mom is "pioneering" at age 76 on a cane.

posters i have tried "everything" to show my mom that the wts is full of beans but she just won't budge.

i have heard through some non-jw's relatives that my mom who is 76 years old and having alot of problems with her knee is pioneering.

i am so worried about her standing in front of the donut shop or supermarket at 6:00 am.

No matter what you say, she is not going to listen to you. Since she is talking to you despite of the elders' warning, she loves you very much. Let her be. She thinks that's what makes her happy. However, contact local elders so that they can at least arrange a partner to be with your mom in the morning.

You have to keep yourself cool. Don't lose temper or control. If you do, that's going to be a sign to your mom and the jws that you are demonized. Just let her know that you are concerned with her well being.

I hope things go well with you and your mom.

I Asked My Wife A Question Yesterday

over the last two weeks since i posted about my wife taking me to the elders, i have been working very hard to save my marriage.

i have made arrangements for babysitting so that we can go out at least once or twice a week.

we have taken in a movie, gone for a walk, gone to the beach, gone to the museum, gone to a jazz concert and just yesterday we went to a coffee house and talked over a nice cup of joe.
