AllTimeJeff,
I appreciate the articulate "pearls" you have thrown down.

the phrases still roll off my tongue, "a god of tender mercies", a god in whom there is no injustice", a god who "protects the little one.".
in spite of those worn out platitides, if i walked in to a court room and saw the name "jehovah god" in metallic letters on the door, i would ask my attorney to make a motion to have the judge recused.
i would prefer to take my judicial chances with any ticket-fixing, bribe-taking, alcoholic, mafia-controlled human judge than face the uneven, irrational and obscene judicial decisions made by god jehovah.. i cite the case of king david of israel.

I don't spend much time blaming the tooth fairy for my problems.
Nor should you. The tooth fairy didn't fry your brain.

So my very deep question is why do you blame something that is make believe?
Please don't flatter yourself. Nothing you've said displays any logic, let alone depth.

god jehovah has had a preoccupation, if not an obsession with meat.
although cain worked hard to produce an offering of vegetables, it was rejected because it was not meat.
priests were instructed to save certain cuts of meat for jehovah, the fatty portions.
Can you prove from the bible there will be a physical paradise or is that something we are to obey because JW's say so?
I don't remember Christ talking much about the issue perhaps there is another version of Christ words that I don't know about?
In other words, 99% of the people involved in this topic already know that they were mislead so why the big issue of a new world order. Chirst kindom wasn't of this world - He being king of that kingdom should give some indication that he might have something to say about meat eaters!
Pauls stated the kindgom was not about eating and drinking - or perhaps I being trick into thinking that someone really believes the bible anyway?
As usual, you miss everything. I'm simply presenting the picture the Watchtower has painted over the years. The reader can decide if it makes sense or not. Why are you worried about what Paul or Jesus Christ have said on any subject if you don't believe the Bible? This is a Jehovah's Witness Discussion Board. We discuss what JW's have been taught and the rules and requirements of the religion among other things. You impress me as a person who is needlessly argumentative, whether you have a point to make or not, sort of a poor man's devil's advocate.

writetoknow,
I would love to respond to any one of your thirteen posts to this topic but your arguments are all over the place, self-contradictory. If English is your second language, I understand. Sometimes its possible to miss the subtleties and implications when you struggle with the language.
With some hesitancy, I will quote one of your posts:
If my understanding is correct the post start with how unjust Jehovah is?That is not really correct. My original post deals with how the Bible presents Jehovah. If you accept those incidents at FACE VALUE, Jehovah does not look good. If Jehovah authored the 66 books of the old and new testament, he signed off on those descriptions. If humans were simply attributing certain events to a deity they invented, so be it. My original point is very basic: Jehovah, the God of the Bible is unjust, merciless or those writing about him in the Bible are dishonest, liars. Either way, the Bible and the God it presents is not worthy of our life's devotion. tms ps: writetoknow: In your profile you state that you are a former elder, pioneer. . one who served in multiple congregations where "the need was great". You also state that you are a certified graphologist, handwriting expert, "Write To Know" being the name of your handwriting analysis business. A google search did turn up a company "Write to Know" in Portland, OR. The owner of that company is a woman, an elementary school teacher for 33 years, a graphologist since 1978. ??

Obves,
A "defeated enemy for good"? I doubt that I could live up to that title. You say I should be trembling? Actually, you've added nothing of substance to this thread. You've just made threats in the name of your god. You are indeed in His image.

bigboi, low-key.
It's odd how often the Watchtower feels the need to speculate on what really can't be known for certain. There's definitely a certain arrogance there. So many of Rutherford's silly attempts to comment on scientific matters haven't stood the test of time at all. Lol! In the congregations, speculation is frowned upon as "pushing ahead" or going "beyond the things written".
The Watchtower, on the other hand, speculates, backtracks, speculates, clarifies and then chastises the brotherhood for acting on their words.

onacruz,
What a convoluted answer given in the QFR! It almost made me dizzy trying to follow that logic. They even excluded dairy products from the pre-flood diet. That meant that Abel the "herder of sheep" was in it for the wool alone. No meat, no milk, no cheese! Only Jehovah could eat his meat including the "fatty portions". Abel must have had some butchering skills to have even discovered the "fatty portions". Why was he dissecting animals? For biology class or forensics?

God Jehovah has had a preoccupation, if not an obsession with meat. Although Cain worked hard to produce an offering of vegetables, it was rejected because it was not meat. Priests were instructed to save certain cuts of meat for Jehovah, the fatty portions. (Not my personal preference, but then I'm not Jehovah.) At times the Watchtower has tried to explain away certain actions attributed to Jehovah as anthromorphic, that is, human traits attributed to a deity. Jehovah is really not "hurt" by human actions, nor does he really crave meat, they imply.
Jehovah made specific rules about the eating of meat. At first(until the flood) no meat could be eaten. Interesting that righteous Abel offered essentially illegal contraband, meat, even "their fatty pieces" and it was readily accepted by Jehovah. After the flood "every flying creature, every moving animal and fish" became fair game so to speak. With the Mosaic Law Jehovah greatly limited the types of meat that could be eaten. Watchtower publications hint strongly that preventing diseases like trichinosis may played a part in Jehovah's new meat rules. Its a shame that Jehovah wouldn't have moved to protect his "friends" Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or ancient greats like Job and Melchizadek from trichinosis. Later on Jehovah used quail meat to punish ungrateful Israelites who tired of manna. He made them eat quail till it came out of their noses. You can get tired of something, if it served too often.
Will new meat rules be part of the "new scrolls" Jehovah will unfurl in the new world? Perhaps. One thing is certain. Animals will lose their carnivoristic predisposition. Isaiah tells us in prophecy: "the lion will eat straw just like the bull." Before this genetic change takes place Jehovah has scheduled one final meat lovers "Evening Meal of God" to consume all the dead carcasses from Armageddon. Presumably birds of prey and other still carnivorous creatures will enjoy Jehovah's Great Meat Dinner. After that, only the carcasses of animals who die a natural death will be consumed. Animals will then immediately revert back to their post-Armageddon vegetarian state of mind.
Although the Watchtower has given us a beautiful picture of paradise, many questions remain unanswered. Will new world fish distinguish between animal, bacterial and plant plankton? Will purple martins still consume 600 mosquitoes an hour? What will ant eaters use their snouts for?
Humans may be able to satisfy their cravings by eating "well-oiled dishes filled with marrow.", not really meat, but close. Housecat Tabby will no longer stalk her prey, but innocently frolic along with a large rat population, her former enemies.

Of course, I'm taking the Bible writer's words at face value that Jehovah was involved in merciless, vengeful and unjust acts. If Jehovah exists but is not as the writers portrayed him, I apologize. He may not be almighty, either, which limits his ability to control how he is portrayed.
