i have heard over the years from many different people about how jws in those states are unlike elsewhere.
the parties they have, the way they dress and the permissive attitude.
i just heard from a sister that is from florida, that if you are not "spiritually strong" you will "fall out of the truth" down there.
I used to live up in Boston and moving to Florida was a great change. Although it is true they party more and elder's go to live merengue, bachata, salsa concerts etc. You will always find the crazy dubs! The only big difference I see is that as an individual, you have waaaaay more choices of entertainment and if you are fading then you can easily get in trouble.

But Perry, we as humans in a free society have set limits to the amount and type of punishment we impose. The ultimate punishment is death. So if after death God is goin to judge us. How is it just to punish us for not believing, for not following sacred books that are full of errors, for enojying pleasures of life?

When a non believer or doubter says he/she does not believe. It means that person does not believe in sin, does not believe we are broken and does not think we should be punished for not believing these things when we do not have hard evidence. All we have are gut feelings.
