if memory serves me, when it was first introduced elders had to fill out a form to grade a jw, and only those who made the grade could do the carts.. i didn’t realize until sir82 said something on another discussion that the process had changed.. what is the process nowadays?

The Witnesses will triumph and survive just as they did under Hitler and others. Regardless of how happy you might be be due to the ban. Anytime you have a government interfering with people's beliefs, it is not good for democracy and freedom. The Jdubs will be strengthened and united by these new circumstances.

my mom, while pregnant with me, was one of thousands of jw volunteers to work on the construction of this once beautiful assembly hall in south florida circa 1984. it had a beautiful pond, waterfall, and even a resident alligator.
many remember it as well for it's huge plaster murals on the walls showing scenes of paradises.. pics as it was before (sorry for the low quality, struggled to find good pics of the auditorium as it was, if you have any good ones, do share them):.

overall the numbers are better than last year (1.8% growth compared to 1.5% last year -- as i predicted ;-) ) with an increase in all major figures including 1300 more congregations (i assume this is not physical kingdom halls?).
The bottom line is the GB is doing fine and well, the organization continues to survive and none of us can do a thjng about it. Face it, the apostates vs JW's leadership is like the war on drugs. We will never win since people will still search for this drug called religion
