  anyone ever seen a pinata at a witness gathering? my wife said she wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole when we saw one at a store. I told her there was nothing wrong with them according to cited article. she still said she would never agree with using one. 😔

  we are caught up to the latest episode and we have began discussing the parallels (or the lack thereof) between the cult portrayed in the show and the jw.

  would you help me trace some more that i may be overlooking?.

  They take advantage of people's vulnerability to gain them as members. (Such as the natural disaster in the introduction of the show. )

  Bible studies are usually those who have just been through something tragic in their life like a death in family, serious illness, even the vulnerable state of pregnancy.

  A brother repeated a "rumor" from the platform last night.

  i seem to remember many talks and articles in the past about repeating rumors.last night before going into the book study the conductor said something to the effect, "i heard a rumor and i don't know if it's true but the rumor is that in the future we will be using only;y videos at the door.".

  anyone else heard this "rumor"?.

  and whats up with repeating rumors from the platform?

  anybody have any ideas where they are going with the "new light" they have been pushing last week and this week?

  Leah Remini - Scientology Documentary

  i know some has been posted about leah remini and her split from scientology.

  i just wanted to add after finishing it last night, it is a must watch for questioning jws...every episode has familiar situations and parallels that will make jws really think (or squirm).

  watch it with someone you want to wake up!!!!

  Perhaps I should have been more specific Nathan Natas. It was a general question which I'm sure someone who knew the answer off the top of their head would be nice enough to answer. If you don't know, there is no need to comment IMHO. I did try to check but I don't currently have a subscription to HULU so I couldn't see the offerings.

  Anywho, I have seen first few episodes and it is interesting. Still in wife does not want to watch but I know she can hear while I'm watching and I know she can notes the parallels. She questions me as to why I would want to watch that. I will continue watching every episode.
