I would use 100% but I lent 4.040405% to a friendly bird I encountered years ago on my journey from Xanadu. She promised not to use what I gave her for evil, I promised to use what was left to be more attentive to good fellows.

Now what’s the first statement about the evolution: if something is growing (fingers, brain, or whatever) mean that the specimen did entirely needed it and completely got to use it. Otherwise it wouldn’t have grown …
It is also important to remember that the brain didn't get larger--those born with larger brains were for various reasons better adapted to the environment and survived to procreate better than those with smaller brains.

I don't consider Anna Kournikova "famous tennis player" because it's so obvious that she sells herself on her appearance and not on her athletic ability. She is more of a sporty model.

Yes, COMF, I read your whole post. I have nothing negative to say about polyamorous relationships. My concern is not about the possibility of someone getting hurt--for it is just as high in a monogamous relationship. (I suspect most of us have experienced heartache even though we have not experienced polyamory, yes?) My point is just that the more people involved the more careful one must be. But as you said, you are an adult and conscious of the responsibility involved, so happy heart handlin'.

Complicated yes, but if the parameters are set from the very start, how can one argue?
I wouldn’t argue about his lifestyle. I just thought it was oversimplified to compare people to food. His relationship with breakfast food is one-way. It is only about what he wants for breakfast. His relationship with women is two-way and much more complicated.
COMF is trying to be upfront. If he knows that he cannot or will not settle down with one woman, at least he has the decency to let that be known.
Rather that than the many men who do so without informing their partners.

Of course not. Not for a woman or any other reason.

Sometimes my breakfast is orange juice and a bagel with cream cheese. Sometimes it's eggs over medium with picante sauce, bacon and hash browns. Sometimes it's waffles with butter and honey. If I wake up to scrambled eggs today, is that a betrayal of the bagel and cream cheese? Is my relationship with cream cheese diminished as a result of the indulgence of my taste buds with picante sauce?
Are people and breakfast foods a good comparison? I imagine when you add sentience and intelligence to the equation it gets a bit more complicated.
