Guest, I promised you I would read the whole of this thread and then come back to you, and I have.

I like what you say. You say things that I know but you say things differently so that they seem new. Because your new way of saying things is unfamiliar, it makes me think, and that is good.

Because I have now read every post on this thread I have got to know some of the people here much better than I would otherwise have done, so that when I see them on other threads I can understand much better what is going on.

A lot of it is not what I expected to find on this forum, but I can now see what is happening.

I've been looking at all of this on the web.

Wherever I looked, all the articles and links against Mother Teresa derived from atheists or, originally, back in India, from a particular Hindu group that is against other religions working in India, even if what they do helps Indians in need. I found a lot of articles and links describing the good work that she did.

How is it possible to prove anything one way or another in a thread on a forum? Everyone can look on the internet and find a link that supports what they are saying, and someone else can find a link that says the other thing.

Blackening the name of someone when I don't know all the facts, goes against the grain, and I don't think anyone here knows all the facts. I have always thought she was a very good woman.

I like what someone wrote earlier about not passing things on that are against somebody, or somebody's reputation, unless we truly know it is right. It is just not a good thing to do.

Yes, Guest, that's exactly what I saw happening. Just exactly. Hypocrisy. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I don't make decisions about people quickly. I will read this thread in bits, because it really very long.

this is my first time now that i'm registered.

i've been reading here for a while though.. it's been a long journey to get here, but now i have turned my back on everything i've known for such a long time, but a new road lies ahead, and this is one of the first steps on it.. .

Thank you everybody, especially Most Noble for saying my stoory is wonderful. I've read some very sad and difficult stories on here. I don't think mine is really wonderful. We just talked all together, not once, but over a long time really.

Once you know it's wrong, you can't stay in, can you? Otherwise it would all be a pretence.

I left because gradually I realised that it was wrong.

It isn't the truth. It's a big lie.

It wasn't a case of light suddenly dawning. I just came to a point where I knew it was wrong.

I waited for a long time, until I was sure, or at least sure that I couldn't go along with it any longer. First, my wife and I just did less and less. we were down to one Saturday maybe a month. Then we just decided not to go out any more. Our life wasn't our own, so we had a family talk. None of us wanted any part of it any more, and we just decided to stop. They kept after us, which made my wife upset, so we wrote to them and we are clear.

Neither of us were born in. we came in together years ago, and we came out all together. So we are lucky. It's not as if our families were in. Just us, and now none of us. we miss our friends but we are making new ones.

That's it. No interesting story, not like I've read on here.
