Anyone see the movie "Unfaithful?" Seeing that movie is a good deterrent to anyone having an affair.

This is very sad, this occurred very close to where I live. I heard his parents on the radio yesterday telling about the dangers of this type of gun.

Considered Suicide ?
by Guest 77 inafter reading about the two jw's committing suicide and larc's comments, how many of us have considered suicide?
i saw a movie about a man trying every trick in the book to committ suicide and failed.
it got to the point in the movie that you know his next new attempt would fail.. most likely some people prefer to die without committing suicide.

Many times I thought about it, especially after I left the WT. To me, it was just too painful to live, however, I didn't have the nerve to carry it through. Besides, my JW parents have already lost 1 child, I couldn't do that to them again. Now, I am just so glad to be alive...

I never brought anyone either, although I studied with my best friend for a while. She almost bought it too, except that Michael the Archangel thing being Jesus...
I know of one family that took out an ad in their local paper when they left the JW's apologizing for spreading a false gospel. How cool is that!

We stopped by the gas station in the a.m. the other day and my hubby commented that the people in the next car to us were really dressed up for going to the gas station, dresses, suits, etc. I said they're JW's...he said how can you tell, and I said, there are several in a car group, out on a Saturday morning, they're stopping for a coke/potty break. He said you can spot those people a mile away...I said unfortunately yes...
