  Anybody here ever go on chaperoned dates?

  i use to get the biggest chuckle when the elders insisted that when going out on a date that someone older and mature had to go with you to make sure you don't fornicate.

  how imposing!!

  i have a friend (did the fade) that was stuck with her brother being the chaperone a couple of times when she was dating her then boyfriend.

  POLICE SHOW UP WHILE OUT IN SERVICE...ANY STORIES?

  first time in over a year...3rd time in 2 years!.

  my husband went out in service yesterday...and relayed the following story to me when he got home.. .

  going from door to door....they were all "not at homes", so they were combing the neighborhood rather quickly looking for people at home...suspicious activity...having people going from door to door that quickly.. .

  Yes, it used to happen a lot in our congregation. Seems like the car group I was in was always getting badgered for sitting in the street. Imagine, all of us ladies in dresses and pantyhose, what sort of bad things we were up to...

  with all the information we have nowadays, out of sheer curiousity, do any of you know your blood type?

  for some, i know the blood-issue is a touchy subject, but it's interesting to know it.

  you'd be surprised especially when the case of an rh-negative mother may give birth to an rh-positive child.

  just curious.

  would anyone like to share, if they feel like it, their memory of the last door they ever knocked on?

  i was with about 3 or 4 other people, all sisters.

  I don't remember my last door. I don't remember much of anything during that time. I do remember what I did at my last assembly. They were downing something again and I stared at my little niece and stuck my finger down my throat in a gag motion. I then left at the break and NEVER set foot at a JW event. EVER
