Definitely the blood issue. Letting your kids die than giving them a life-saving transfusion. In a nutshell: Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

That actress from SBTB is Lark Voorhies. I have read that she's a JW on other sites. That lady who was best friends with Nicole Brown and went on all the talk shows during the OJ trial some years back. I cannot think of her name. I read her bio and she mentioned she was raised a Jehovah's Witness.

District Assembly Instructions
by RubaDub inam i too thin-skinned or does anyone find that annual km insert dealing with the district assembly offensive???.
i mean, having to read and comment on those same things every year about not cooking in your hotel room, not to steal food if breakfast is offered, not to poop in the sinks, or whatever they say.
if you have to give those "reminders," it makes you wonder about the people you are sitting next to during the sessions.. *****rub a dub

I remember reading those instructions from the WT and always had to wonder what in the heck is in the minds and actions of a few? Not to poop in the sink??? I remember the one where people were stealing towels from the hotel rooms and using them for saving seats. I also remember people arriving in their pajamas in order to get the best seats. This beat the other guy mentality??? Also remember the kids from hell making life miserable at the hotel pool or on the elevator? UGHHHHHHH

Did Anyone Ever Like The Dramas?
by minimus inat the district convention, the highlight was always said to be the dramas.
did you really look forward to them?
was there one that ever stood out?
-

As much bashing as I do about the WT, I looked forward to the dramas. It was great seeing friends you knew acting out the different roles, whether modern day family or a Pharisee or two. I never was a part of one, although I think it would have been fun and it would have brought out the "thespian" in me - lol.

Logansrun.....has arrived
by logansrun ini just thought i would post a little about myself here, even though some of you might know me from the "beyond jehovah's witnesses" forum.
my name is bradley and i live in a suburb of chicago illinois.
i'm currently twenty six years old and left the jws about nine months ago after a year and a half of intense doubts, many hundreds of hours of research, cognitive dissonance and bouts of vomitting (stressful, eh?).

Welcome Logan's Run. That's a great screen name. They made that movie here in Texas in the 1970's. What a cool movie. Anyone remember Michael York? He was so hubba hubba.
