by teenyuck ini was looking at the news this morning and voila!!
i see a big, hairy face staring at me from my computer..... this man bears a striking resembalence to my step-father, who happens to be from iraq...... notice the fur on the neck and shoulders?
granted, zaia (his name) was a little thinner, however, since i. have not seen him in 20 years i suppose he would have gained a few pounds.. .

Isn't it all about sacrifice and showing off your faithfulness? Look at those JW's who stayed home because they didn't want to trip and end up in the emergency room. But look at those brothers who sacrificed and went out in service, "showing" their dedication to Jehovah. I'd like to sacrifice the asses of a few elders I know.

Did You Know Jehovah & Jesus Attend Meetings & Want You To Scrub Floors?
by minimus inaccording to the watchtower of dec. 15, 1985, jehovah and his son attend the meetings at the kingdom hall.
"how can you show gratitude for what jesus did" is the article that you should review.
this is what it states:"since jehovah and jesus are present invisibly at these gatherings, grateful christians will not snub them, as the apostates do, but rather do all they reasonably can to attend regularly.

Sounds like more of the cheap forced labor to me. Maybe if every JW cleaned up after their OWN mess, Jehovah wouldn't want us to scrub floors and clean toilets.

Bad Doors in the field service
by JH in.
did you ever knock on a door, and realize that the person knew more about the bible than you did?
what was your worst experience in the field service?.

I remember one where this woman cursed at me and called me everything in the book. She wasn't upset about doctrine, but evidently the congregation pioneers had been working this complex a lot and were leaving lots of old WT's at the door. She was upset that we were littering the doorway of everyone's condo. I remember that door to this day.

Soon after I exited the Watchtower, I met a group of really nice young people at my job and invited me to a Bible study. Very thorough, could thump better than the JW's. Met in small group at people's residences, and usually rented hotel conference rooms for their Sunday worship services. These hardcore young people turned out to be part of Kip McKean's group. I got really nervous and they started being very rude to me about studying the Bible. I acted like a banana and split very quickly from this group of people. You're right, worse than the Witnesses. They used to recruit a lot on college campuses.

It's a sad day in the neighborhood. Loved watching Mr. Rogers when I was a kid. Always had a kind voice and loved playing make believe. We'll miss you Mr. Rogers!
