as a baptist kid, I loved the free meal every wednesday at their lunchroom, it was delicious. There was a small meeting after but mostly for singing and requests from anyone. So informal and made you feel good.

by dubstepped inmy wife is having her first birthday party in july, and we're looking for a place to hold it.
we found an episcopal church online that offered their fellowship hall for such occasions, and we went to check it out this morning.
when we arrived they were having something in the hall and were setting up for it.

by xelder ini am amazed at how people will go to extreme stretches of logic to explain or justify the supposed actions of their god (lower case g intentional, no upper case deserved).
i have seen people with wonderful bullshit detectors in normal life, throw all of that ability away in order to retain their hope of a creator who cares for them.
i am agnostic, certainly not atheistic, since i think atheism is not provable.

don't leave out fish swallowing a man and keeping him alive for what he says was 3 days and nites. If he was in darkness in the fish, how did he know it was night time? Imagine if today someone claimed to have been swallowed by a fish, would you throw dirt on yourself and believe him, or call 911 and turn him in as completely off his rocker. -

Watched it with my still in partner and it was almost non stop JW slogans from her, to try and counter the truth that she was watching. I had to shhhh her just so I could listen . DVR,ed the series and would like to see it in quiet mode sometime alone. -

Kinda like not too long ago, they printed a picture of all gathering in a basement somewhere in their tight pants and regular clothes to hide from the GT.
