Lets see...he says 8,300,000 witnesses and 120,000 congregations = 69.1 per congregation . They need to consolidate 60,000 congregations to bring the average to 138/congregation. Can only hope.

Wachtower study february 20 - the stress factor
by Gorbatchov inattending for family reasons, and listen in "oversee" modus to the many comments during the watchtower study.. in my opinion it was a self help article on the subject stress amongst the flock.. leave it all to jehovah and help your self with the bullet points.. what i noticed from the comments is the lot of stress mentioned.
comments after comment they told how they handle their problems.
it is a real toppic amongst them.

What is your opinion of the news media?
by minimus into me they have an agenda and they really don't care about professional journalism.
most are untrustworthy and that's a shame.

Movies I'm Watching
by ILoveTTATT2 ini have, for about 6 months now, been trying to watch every single movie that was "cool" or interesting since 1960.it started out with a desire to watch as an adult all disney movies.
then it morphed into all bond movies (except for the non-canonicals).now it's turned into pretty much any and all movies.
here is my list, scratched out are ones i have seen, green are recent next-in line.turns out there was a lot i had never seen before, about 70% because of the cult restrictions!

Even Baptist didn't allow us to see The Exorcist. It was promoting the Catholics we were told. I went anyway. The dumbist movie in the 80,s was Superfuzz and The Gods must be crazy.

Book study this week...more trumpeting over the organzations greatness
by NikL inyou know, there are some studies that are painful to sit through because of the blatant lies or bull shite spewing from the platform.
then there are those that seem to have no reason for even taking place.. such was the case for last nights congregation bible study.. all it did was talk about how many books and magazines have been published over the years and "aren't we wonderful that we print so much stuff"?
this is a study into important biblical things?

We have friends that have been trying to get out of Honduras for years, not only because they can't find work, but also it is a very unsafe to live there. It is the murder capital of the world, as Belize is the 3rd worst murder capital.

n 2006, Joseph Contreras profiled the issue of Guatemalan immigrants illegally entering Mexico for Newsweek magazine and pointed out that while Mexican president Vicente Fox demanded that the United States grant legal residency to millions of illegal Mexican immigrants, Mexico had only granted legal status to 15,000 illegal immigrants. Additionally, Contreras found that at coffee farms in the Mexican state Chiapas, "40,000 Guatemalan field hands endure backbreaking jobs and squalid living conditions to earn roughly [US]$3.50 a day" and that some farmers "even deduct the cost of room and board from that amount."[3] The Mexican National Institute of Migration estimated that 400,235 people crossed the border illegally every year and that around 150,000 of them intended to enter the United States.[4]
